People, seriously, go make Canadian babies and develop deep relationships with your wife/husband or girlfriend/boyfriend (if marriage is too old school for you).

I personally don't think that a life of corporate servitude is very fulfilling. Somewhere along the line, society convinced people that being in a stable, long term relationship with your children is prison and they should break "free" by dedicating their lives to their career and consumerism.

you do need a job for all of that. you can have all of the deep relationships you want but with no jobs or ability to get ahead you will be doing it in a van down by the river if you can afford teh van

Don't you know, the more babies you have the more cheques you receive from the government. Who needs a job when you can just fuck all day

u/aiyanapacrew 1d ago

and then teach that hood rat mentality to your horde of kids with NO FATHER in the house. that is literally some womens life goal is to pump out kids for the cheques

Sounds glorious. In all's serious though, we could just focus onaking Canadian lives cheaper, probably solve the problem. It's not thst people don't want kids, it's thst they can't afford it. I had a kid at 27 and wasn't financial well off and it's been really tough

we give more to immigrants than we do to the people from here. if you immigrate you should not get ANYTHING free for the first 5 years and commit a crime and you get the boot instantly. instead we just get more and more taxes and immigrants get all kinds of freebies. we are literally a door mat to the rest of the world and if we mention it we are called racists somehow and exnophobic.

If you don’t think the life of “corporate servitude” is fulfilling, make other choices as is your right.

Leave others alone to choose for themselves based on what is fulfilling to them. Being a stay at home parent with 5 kids or working 16 hours a day with none or something in between are all equally valid.

Liberals don't want you having kids. They'd rather bring in immigrants instead, who will work for less and stay a loyal voter towards the party who let them in.

This is literally the mass immigration, Century Initiative party were talking about.

We're all just culturally retarded for not wanting to be DINKs with government jobs who live in a government shoe box where the power cuts out when the wind isn't blowing you see.

u/Interesting-Mail-653 1d ago

There’s this one radical interviewed in Youtube claiming that the Sharia Law will be implemented in Canada by 2060 because locals don’t make enough babies and they do.

5

u/MediansVoiceonLoud 1d ago edited 1d ago

Deport them. Their culture is not compatible anyways and they have stated multiple places and times that they do infact plan to outnumber us and implement sharia. There are many many videos of randoms and their preachers at the immams saying things like this. But I know which one you are talking about. Forcing people to have kids will raise murder rates dramatically. And women will sterilize themselves/suicide and refuse to date.

Fix the f*cking country is the answer as usual, yet nobody wants to do it. They would rather force women to have kids. Disgusting.

Edit: I've been sitting here going back and forth on whether or not to delete this comment. Because it's harsh and this particular sub is usually pretty tame. This post notwithstanding..

Instead I will add to it. Bring back things like singles mixers. Bring back culturally mom and dad and family setting up their kids with potential suitors (not forcing them). Bring back the courting and the coming out. Many people won't be interested. Many will. Do it not just for the rich, but the poor as well. Most of us aren't going to be having families stemming from tinder culture. Bring back actually trying to find a partner in respectful ways. (Once again, not forcing) We have become too busy, too broke, too overcrowded and too impersonal. It's time to make an effort to make marriage and families more attainable and to be more involved in trying to make them happen.

Exactly, the Liberal Party of Canada's main goal is to destroy every last vestige of Canada. They are the post-national party.

You clearly haven’t met any immigrants in your life but as an immigrant let me tell you, most older immigrants hate the new immigrants and also we mostly come from very conservative cultures and countries so we end up voting conservative even though the conservative do not want us in this country. It is a sad cycle but the more privileged always tries to bring down the less privileged even if in the end we are all oppressed by the same system.

u/consistantcanadian 1d ago

Older immigrants only recently became against immigration, and immigrants as a whole notoriously vote liberal at twice the rate of Conservative.

Me and my wife, as well as other people my age, have waited till our 30s to have children because we simply didn’t feel that we had the means to raise a child. We rent, lived at home or didn’t have the financial stability that allowed us to feel comfortable being parents. That’s simply something ALL people my age and younger are thinking about.

It’s simply too expensive to live a normal life for more people my age and younger. The boomers don’t give a shit because they’ve got their feather in their cap, they’ve pulled the ladder up behind them.

4

u/creemore 1d ago

Nobody is comfortable being parents for the first time.  You won't ever feel completely stable.  Money will always be tight.

If you want kids, now's the best time. Everything will work out.  Your future kids will value your time over anything you can pay for.

There's a really good In a nutshell video on the demographic nightmare that is coming to South Korea and it really puts into perspective what we are doing to future generations.

We need to get above replace again and fast.

u/valiantedwardo 1d ago

So if he wants to talk about family fertility we need to cover what Pierre will do with the childcare, dental and pharmacare programs.

Half the reason people put off having a family is because it's too dawned expensive.

Alberta is calling pulled the rug out from under me for buying a house. If Mark Carney has said anything that's caught my eye it's the reviving of the "Victory homes" program. Why? Because it worked. I'll live and buy a prefab home if it means I don't have to pay more than 1/3 of my income towards housing.

Pierre hasn't gone past the three word rhyming slogans. It's getting a little late to not have a plan announced.

Umm, ya? I don't really give a shit what the wine aunts think. They'll die, so will I. And the future I leave for my kids is what I care about.

12

u/OttoVonDisraeli Traditionalist | Provincialist | Canadien-Français 1d ago

That might be okay for a generation or two but four generations into low fertility rates and we're looking at a demographic disaster where society won't be able to support itself.

10

u/CarlotheNord Canuckistani 1d ago

I agree. So we need to turn that around. Ultimately we have two choices. Force people who don't want to have kids, to have kids. Or wait it out as we try to facilitate families as best we can. Or I guess we can get into iron wombs if you wanna get really dystopian really fast.

Its pathetic that the left refuses to acknowledge this.

6

u/OttoVonDisraeli Traditionalist | Provincialist | Canadien-Français 1d ago

I think it really depends on the reasons behind why people might not want to have kids. The voluntarily celebate or DINK propagandists are a lost cause, but there's a whole few generations of people who want to have kids but feel like for one reason or another they can't. That doesn't even touch generations of anti-family propaganda that has convinced women their highest worth and aspiration should be a cog in the system 9-5 salary woman and fight against their own nature.

Force people who don't want to have kids, to have kids.

Kinda hard to do out of a one bedroom, or do you also force them to rent a two bedroom they can't afford in most Canadian cities, so that Canadian companies can what, have more people to gouge and underpay? What is the social contract these days? Because I wouldn't know what to tell a kid. I wouldn't know how to advise a kid, except to perhaps study something that is in demand globally, which doesn't exactly help this country when they leave for better opportunities.

2

u/CarlotheNord Canuckistani 1d ago

Yes, I agree. Which is why I oppose building mass cheap apartment buildings. And why I support unions and pulling away from China and immigration. Make Canadian labour worth something.

Idk about you but I've learned as lot in my life I'd want to impart to my kids, and I'm only 27. I'd teach them the value of staying in shape, I'd make sure they know how to cook. I'd teach them the value of work and show them how to be independent. I'd try to be there to help them through their first break up, try to facilitate their hobbies and encourage them to try new things and not be ashamed if they're bad at them. So much I wish I had when I was growing up.

3

u/ExtraGlutens Thatcherite 1d ago

Which is why I oppose building mass cheap apartment buildings.

That makes even less sense, we need more housing of every type to bring prices down.

I'm 40 and still living in a one bedroom, that certainly was never the plan but the ship for having kids has sailed, I wouldn't want adult children living with me well into my 60s assuming the structural issues of this country are never adressed. I have half-Mexican cousins who could have come here anytime but made a better life in Mexico than anything I could offer a child here.

1

u/CarlotheNord Canuckistani 1d ago

If we built shitloads of good housing, we would live better than living in shitloads of crap housing, no?

2

u/ExtraGlutens Thatcherite 1d ago edited 1d ago

You need housing of every type. People don't start out with a starter home, you rent and save up a downpayment, except right now, rent is eating up half of people's budgets, our various oligopolies take the rest.

Which is why I say, if were legally mandated to have children, I'd marry a foreign national so I could raise them there. It would take a Berlin wall to force my offspring to accept overpriced dairy and everything else with their substandard paychecks, and the Keb government does its best to limit access to English education to prevent people from leaving.

Culture is another can of worms, I wouldn't want my children growing up in Quebec with a nationalist chip on their shoulder, indoctrinated from grade school to blame the Anglos, the Jews, and any other minority for all their own inadequacies.

3

u/AntelopeOver Reactionary Monarchist 1d ago

Nationalism is important, it's what separates a nation from an economic zone. If the people don't feel any strong nationalism or at least pride in their state, it's going to naturally drift apart and collapse.

2

u/ExtraGlutens Thatcherite 1d ago

I see elites who shop the world for the best value on labour, while telling us to buy Canadian. "Patriotic" is not the word that comes to mind when I think of that dynamic. It's hard to feel bad about not supplying them with the next generation of consumer/workers when the numbers don't make sense to me, because if there's one thing they've taught me, it's that the numbers are all that matter.

1

u/CarlotheNord Canuckistani 1d ago

You confuse me. You started rational but now you're just all over.

2

u/ExtraGlutens Thatcherite 1d ago

ADHD flow 😂

Condensed: The first comment I was responding to mentioned forcing people to have kids. Which leads me to think about the cost and availability of housing, and then the cost of everything else, the shit paychecks to cover it all, and if I'm not enjoying this, why would I inflict it on children? I hope that makes more sense 😂

1

u/JamIsBetterThanJelly 1d ago

Force people to have kids? If I heard somebody say something remotely like this in person I'd KO them on the spot. Grow up and learn some respect.

0

u/CarlotheNord Canuckistani 1d ago

Did I advocate for it? Come on now.

0

u/JamIsBetterThanJelly 1d ago

Two options? Come on now. Own up to what you said.

1

u/CarlotheNord Canuckistani 1d ago

Is forcing people to have children not an option to raise the birth rate? Idk about you but its definitely a solution, even if you don't like it or want it.

2

u/JamIsBetterThanJelly 1d ago

As long as I'm standing if I meet somebody in person who advocates that kind of deranged thinking I'm going to give them brain damage. You're perverse, disgusting, and pathetic. You're too afraid to say this publicly because you're worried about someone retaliating.

1

u/CarlotheNord Canuckistani 1d ago

Ok? So go ahead and do that then? I'd probably have some pretty harsh things to say to such a person too. Government mandated breeding is pretty creepy, same reason iron wombs freak me the fuck out. I'm not afraid to say shit, do you have any idea how many subs I've been banned from?

0

u/collymolotov Anti-Communist 1d ago

You're going to physically assault a person to the point of giving them a life-altering impairment for merely proposing a policy platform that you disagree with instead of countering their argument with rhetoric and logic?

Spoken like a true blackshirt.

1

u/Ask_DontTell 1d ago

no it's not an option and not a solution. do you not understand how warped that suggestion even is? maybe try watching the Handsmaid Tale or google No Means No

1

u/CarlotheNord Canuckistani 1d ago

Ya, I'm not watching your feminist smut thanks. Anyways see above for my response.

The Handmaids Tale is thinly-veiled porn for wine aunts.

people not having kids because they choose not to isn't a problem. People who want kids not being able to afford to start a family is a huge problem. I think some people conflate these things for less than benign reasons

2

u/glacierfresh2death 1d ago

This is why he should actually do something for families instead of just talking about how bad it is, I have read his housing plan back and forth and I don’t see how it’s going to help anyone but the investors.

He's correct but it's not good politics.

How about we stay out of people's bedrooms.

This turned into a super racist thread.
