Little cemetery located in St Petersburg, Florida

Under a lovely tree, not far from Molly Pitcher’s grave.

Hey yall! I went to Austin last weekend and we stopped at a few small old cemeteries randomly on the way. What is this symbol at the top does anyone know? The stone is very pretty and looks clean while So many in this cemetery were smooth and unreadable.

Lump was a German Shorthair Pointer, who passed in 1962. His final resting place is in the pet cemetery on the top of the wall of Fort Monroe. Chesapeake Bay, Hampton Roads, Virginia.

Saw his marker and mausoleum at Morris Hill Cemetery in Boise, Idaho today. I thought I got a picture of it but camera glitched out. Served in the Mexican-American, Civil and Indian wars. His Wikipedia page is fascinating.

I found this gravestone at an old mennonite cemetery (Lancaster County, PA) a little while back. The cemetery has graves that date as far back as the mid-1700’s. I could not find any information on the grave, so it remains a mystery for now. I hope that they get their name back somehow.

“Sacred to the Memory of Timothy Augustus. Son of Cap. Timothy & Mrs. Abigail Haraden. who was drowned at the Derby Wharf April 25, 1818. 5 years & 25 days”

This is NOT a racial thing, although the terms coon & Coonass in this case were still used in a derogatory way against Cajun people in S Louisiana. Some members of the community embraced it though, as this stone shows

I didn't venture in because the gate was locked, but I took a couple pictures over the wall.
