Image/Gif Joker🃏🐐 is a BEAST, hopefully a healthy playoff roster will help the Nuggets make a deep run🏀
To think that all he’s accomplished so far and he has had the weapons like the Big 3 or many other teams is insane, the guy is just incredible to help keep a team in games single handily….MV4

Discussion Does anyone know this guy?
I am positive that I knew this guy in a faraway place. He look just like a guy named Pan from Greece. If anyone knows if this guys name is Pan, I would love to know I am not insane. Thanks!

If Julian Strawther returns for the playoffs, we will win the Finals, and I can prove it
It's simple math, people:
The Nuggets are 20 and 1 this year in games where Julian Strawther and Nikola Jokic have each played at least 23.33 minutes*. This is a 78-win pace, which makes us the greatest team of all-time.
THEREFORE: if we can simply get the Gonzagan Assassin back in our rotation in time for the playoffs, it is a mathematical certainty that we will win the NBA Finals again.
*SOURCE. Jokic missed the Boston, Houston, and Memphis games. The Washington Wizards are therefore the only team to beat both Jokic + 23.33 minute Strawther this year.

Listen it’ll be alright
Just remember we have Jokic. I trust him over anyone in a 7 games series. Anything can happen. Sometimes when you’re the best you’re the best and Jokic just might showcase that this year. Enjoy the ride

Discussion Should Jokic be more vocal with the Front office and coaching staff?
I feel like if it was someone like Giannis or KD on the team the Front office would be under a lot more pressure to make moves compared to having Jokic, who seems to be a much more calm, team-oriented type player that wouldn't throw people under the bus. But I feel like the fact that he isn't very vocal might be allowing the Front office to be overly nonchalant, what do you guys think? Honestly at this point he has every right to be mad at the team

If y'all haven't yet, you need to get yourselves some Joker GT. They're certainly gonna be one of the best basketball shoes of the year, if not the best.

Jokic-dependant players & team chemistry
We all know that basketball is a team sport and that Jokic is great at making his teammates better. He operates as a system and when everybody knows and accepts their role everything flows effortlessly and the team looks great. But I want to point out the potential downside to this system. Jokic does a lot of work and setting up on offense, which makes it so that other guys dont have to deal with many complicated situations on offense. The more time they spend playing in that system the longer they are removed from situations where they have to find the answer on plays. They are also not encouraged to do so becase Jokic will usually set up the best play most of the time. This unfortunately creates Jokic-dependant players, and the longer they play like that the less they can do by themselves because they are simply not used to it anymore.
This is the reason why I think "building" team chemistry for years is not the best way to approach a Jokic-led roster, especially when it comes to role players. Back when we traded for AG in 2021 the fit was seamless, imidietly the team was killing it, before Murray went down. Same thing when we got KCP and BB, it didnt take much time for them to get accustomed to the playstyle at all, and it looked like they became even better with Jokic. And thats because they were used to playing without him. They were already independent scorers before and now the job became easier for them and they became even more efficient and everything was great and we won a chip.
But what happens when the time they are in the system is extended? The things that were once easy become hard. They get "rustier" because they just havent done it in a while. This can also be especially detrimental for guys that never played in the nba outside of this system, the guys we drafted.
The crazy thing is-Malone is Jokic dependant too. In ten years that he has been in Denver ha hasnt been able to develop a semi-competent bench unit, which you would be hopeful he would be able to do because those guys dont share the floor with Jokic that much.
This is why I think the best way to approach a Jokic team is constant roster refreshing (im talking about role players especially) The guys that come to our team will have their value go up because their stats will go up, and thats when we swap them (unless its like a really perfect fit like AG was) But unlike other teams we dont have to worry wheather someone will fit or not because everyone fits with Jokic, he even made russ look playable for a few months.

Discussion Bad vibes?
Anyone else just have bad vibes for this team heading into the post season? Record aside I haven’t felt this pessimistic about this team since probably 2021 or 2022.

A Fair and Honest Westbrook Discussion
Russ is a All Star, Hall of Famer, in conversation for the best PG of all time. He gets all flowers hes earned. Now in his current position.....
Hes trying his best, we all know this, but we have to be honest with ourselves.
He is a LIABILITY, the turnovers, the missed layups, the poor decision making, its really hurting the team.
And its doing more harm than good.
These games are crucial, and we need players to deliever in the clutch, Westbrook is not clutch.
Not a single Nugget has as many missed layups as Russ, i would probably go as far as to stay that he has more than the whole team combined this season.
Hes done his due dilligence for the NBA, and will be remembered as a All Time Great but its time for him to hang up his Jersey. This experiment is just too costly and its gotten bad to the point hes single handedly losing us games.
