Considering a move to Kirkcaldy

Evening guys. Hoping this finds you as well as can be, considering... I'm considering buying, and moving to, a property in Kirkcaldy.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Anything you think is worth mentioning would be great, too.

I'm looking at a property in Nelson Street.

I'd like to be able to walk to Train Station, supermarket, and cafe/bars. I don't drink alcohol anymore, so I'm not interested in nightlife. I have a car, so I'm able to get around otherwise.

I guess it's really down to this area, or not, at this stage. Kirkcaldy is firmly on the radar.

Nelson Street is fine. Lived there for years without any hassle. Parking can be an issue at times due to it being flats, but the steets running perpendicular are quiet enough if you live closer an end of the street. 15 mins or so walk to the train station, bit more to get in town. With Tesco gone from the centre, it's really just Aldi that's in walking distance. With it being costal town seagulls are present, so expect a bit of noise
