Did CNBC just go off the air?
About one minute after the market opened, my screen says, “CNBC’s live programming on this channel is currently off the air.”

I know most are talking about whether the market is about to crash or not, but if the value of the US$ crashes soon, how likely is it the Canadian $ will follow? If it is likely, any guesses on how soon after? Wondering what conversion rates are likely to look like over course of next few weeks and implications of holding money in one compared to the other over the next few weeks or months.
Given how bad stock markets are looking for tomorrow, I'm wondering how quickly the conversation rates between US $ and Canadian $ will be affected too, and how they'll be affected?

This could be a warning sign for anyone holding broad-market S&P 500 ETFs thinking they’re fully diversified. When 3 of the top 15 “risk event” days were a single company’s earnings (NVIDIA), that’s not true diversification — it’s concentration in disguise.
Also interesting: the Fed's focus seems to be shifting from inflation to unemployment, which might change the way we interpret macro news moving forward.
