Seven, yes 7, "Game of Thrones" actors appeared in the same 2007 movie, "The Last Legion". Below are snapshots from that movie. They seems eerily familiar to me for some reason.

Forgive me if this isn't the most detail question but other than each other and the wildling what was the biggest threat to the 7 kingdoms because pre dragons reappearing and the army of the dead that nobody knew about there didn't seem to be a big enough external threat they couldn't beat.

I'm torn between Shae and the High Sparrow. There are so many options, though.

S3 ep 9 first time watcher Spoiler

What the fuck is this show? Like the last few eps I was honestly interested but it was tiny bit boring but damn they flipped the table once again. Robb dead. Talisa and poor baby dead. Cat dead. EVERYONE KEEPS DYING LMAO.

Was low-key expecting talisa to be a spy of lannisters but i think she was good and omg robb and cat NAUR. They were so good these 3 seasons, I was expecting them to live for a couple more seasons idk but nope game of thrones ppl kill every character I develop an ounce of affection for. Robb was so hot btw like go girl talisa, good for you.

AND POOR ARYA. I was so happy when they were near and she was about to meet but WHAT THE FUCK. I would have never expected this to happen even in my dreams like I am still shook they killed off 2 main characters like BOOM.

And poor cat never got to meet her daughters or bran and rick again :(

Don’t you think that Ned’s execution actually played good for Lannisters?

Post image

What would happen if Joffrey let Ned live and send him to the Nights Watch? You think honoroble Ned Stark would just obey bastard’s order, tell his son to stop the war and spend the rest of his life on the wall, let this little monster marry Sansa? Actually at this moment Robb already had Jaime as his prisoner, so they would change Jaime for Ned, but this would be bad thing to Lannisters, because unlike Robb, Ned would not call himself King in the North and won’t try to take Lannisters by just his force, he would join Stannis and at this point Lannisters really screw up, because the only reason they won was that none of their enemies worked together and Robb messed up with his weding, which now won’t be a problem since Ned would be there to not let his son make all this problems. Maybe Ned’s word would even bring Renly to Stannis side, after all Renly has major respect for Ned, but i’m not sure about that

What if time: what if the tragedy of Harrenhal happened, but was still a success? Spoiler

Upvotes

What I mean is that Harrenhal goes down like it did in cannon, but in mids to the chaos, live dragons are discovered, brought to life by the lives of Aegon, Sir Dunken and the prince. How would that return of the dragons at the times of Jaherys the second and Aerys affect things?

I Made A Post On Here A Week Ago About Starting Season 8 And … Spoiler

First thank you to everybody to who responded I think it had 80 comments, gotta love this fanbase. Where do I even start!? I did NOT expect jon to kill dany! Jaw was on the floor the entire episode! Dany ignoring the surrender and wrecking havoc on Kings Landing 🫢 The Cinematography from Arya, Jon and everybodys pov was crazyy

I can see why people have their problems with - how our beloved Stark characters ended up - Danys decent into the Mad Queen - The Night King - Bran ending up as King - side character arcs failing

I dont think its nearly as bad as people made it out to be, i had a blast watching this show from all the twists and turns, definitely my favorite tv show, right above daredevil!

Are wights sentient?

On my first watch-through of Game of Thrones and a question occurred to me. Are the wights sentient? I'm not talking about the White Walkers but the dead bodies that they reanimate. Do they have any sort of consciousness or memory of their previous life, or are they completely mindless objects being controlled by the Walkers? In the books Catelyn at least seems to retain some of herself when she is brought back to life but I don't know how it is in the show.

No spoilers from season 8 please. It's the only one I haven't seen yet.

Why didn't Cersei just kill Drogon at the gates of King's Landing?

They had dragon killer crossbows mounted on every battlement, Drogon was right there. They made the move of killing Missandei, which was a major escalation. There were only a few dozen Unsullied with Daenerys. Even if Cersei takes out Drogon, the end result of that meeting is the same. Daenerys retreats to await Jon, and then has to fight King's Landing without Drogon.

Just didn't make much sense that they let her and Drogon just walk (fly) away when they were in such a clearly vulnerable position.

At least don't BRING Drogon to that meeting outside the gate. Attempt to make it somewhat plausible.

Why didn't Jaime just get a hook. Is he stupid?

If pirates were smart enough to get combat capable prosthetics why wasn't Jaime? He obviously had the means to get a blade or hook or something other than a golden pimp-hand

High Quality Map of Westeros?

Where can I find a high quality map of westeros, preferably on Amazon? I got a gift card for my birthday the other day and wanted to fill out my map collection by getting a big map of westeros, but most of the ones I see are fairly low quality, or upwards of $80. Anyone buy one or know where to look?

Why Did The Iron Bank Back Stannis?

Even with Davos's point that Tywin was keeping King's Landing stable and would likely die of old age soon, the Lannisters still had control over five of the Kingdoms at that point with the Tyrells directly invested in the Crown.

Meanwhile Stannis had no income save for the small number of Smallfolk on Dragonstone, had lost the only battle in his campaign, and had no succession plan if he was killed.

But most significantly, because the Baratheon line ended with Stannis since Shireen died first, the Iron Bank have no way of getting that gold back.

All they did was throw good money after bad. They spent money to pursue a debt that already existed, with no way of collecting the new debt if everything went south. Which it did.

Hi!

I made this track and someone pointed out it has GoT vibes! Towards the middle of song the lead tune is similar to the title track!

I swear it was a coincidence, but it would have been subconscious! While I knew the tune, I didn’t watch it nearly enough.

Hope you like it!

If the Lord of Light is a god who performs real miracles—resurrecting the dead, showing visions, and conjuring magical flames—then why do most people in Westeros still refuse to believe in him?

The Lord of Light (R'hllor) is one of the few gods in Westeros who actively performs miracles—resurrecting the dead, showing visions in fire, and even conjuring magical flames. Despite this, most people in Westeros do not believe in this religion why?
