Mathematics (Tertiary/Grade 11-12)—Pending OP [Polar] Can someone help me with the proof please!

Second slide was part A, and shows the diagram we are working with.

Workings show above for where I have gotten to

I’m aware arctan(dy/dx) = Angle

So Angle = Theta + B

However, I’m confused as to which angle this is giving me and why.

I thought it was giving angle QTO, however according to the mark scheme it appears to give STP.

Can someone please point me in the right direction as to why it’s working out STP ?????

Physics—Pending OP Reply [Grade 11 Physics 1: Projectile Motion] How am I supposed to solve this?

I’ve tried making sense of this, but I’m so confused on how I can solve this with such limited given information? I tried finding the vertical or horizontal velocity, but got negatives so I don’t know what to do with that. I also already tried “cannot be solved,” but apparently it can be and I’m just missing it.

For d) the book states: Determine the end behavior (which I’ve done), and find the power function that the graph of f resembles for large values of |x|. How do you get y=7x7? Is it because 7 is the leading term, has no variable, and it’s a 7th degree polynomial? TIA

I'm in a marketing class in high school and we have a project where we have to make a business. My business idea is a dog cafe with the dogs being adoptable. For this project I need to talk to people in my target market and ask what brands they buy from. My target market is(i think) families, younger people who want to go to trendy cafes. Sorry if this post seems unclear or not right for this subreddit.

I guess my question is if you are in this target market what kind of brands would you buy from?

I've seen so many videos and still cannot understand, there's also too many different answers. I really need help because I couldn't find any other helpful tutorials.

I want to know how to get the h=√2a/3

And area A=√3a²/4

I got 45.56 instead of 100 but the same format with the root and L and g. I don’t know where to go from here. Thank you for taking the time to look at this!

For those who answered me before, I don’t know how to add photos, so I made a new post. Sorry about the hassle!!

If the motor was creating a constant acceleration on the rope or if the force acted directly onto the cart i would know what to do but everything i've done eith this problem doesnt work out. (The answer is 0.77m/s, but i dont know how to get there)

English Language—Pending OP Reply [College English: Citations] help with citations for research essay (MLA)

My teacher (community college) is entirely unhelpful. I knew my citations were really wrong when we had our in-class peer review, but she was too busy to explain anything and just told me to look it up online. I looked at the Purdue OWL and I think I have it down I just really need confirmation from a human. I just need someone to look at my parenthetical citations from one paragraph to see if I have the hang of it. I think its correct, but I have literally no clue. I can't afford to lose points for something as trivial as citations. I don't really want to post my essay on a public forum so if someone would be willing to DM me I would so greatly appreciate it!!!!!

Chemistry [Inorganic Chemistry: molecular geometry] The anion C02- has been synthesized somehow. What hybridization, geometry, and bond angles would you expect it to have?

So i have a presentation for my inorganic chemistry class, each of us got a random question and this is one i got:

"The anion C02- has been synthesized somehow. What hybridization, geometry, and bond angles would you expect it to have?"

What i found in google is that it would be kinda similar to nitrite, with sp2 hybridization, angular geometry and an angle of about 130 degrees aprox. But can't really explain imagine how this molecule would work. The thing that troubles me is where would be the "extra" electron that makes the molecule an anion, pictures show it on the carbon atom but isn't it the least electronegative between it and the oxygen? but also if it stays along one of the oxygen atoms it doesn't make sense to me bc of the octet rule. I have been searching papers and such but my doubts don't seem to have an answer :c

I would be very grateful if someone could help me!!! By the way english isn't my native language so sorry if it's weird written and also i just made this account to ask this idk how reddit works at all :c
