Uhhh… Is this real? This can’t be real.

Did he watch the same movies the rest of us saw? Read the same books? He is out of his drugged out mind. Imagine seeing things this upside down. Imagine being a billionaire and somehow identifying yourself with rebels who were farming, scraping, starving, struggling for their survival and their most basic freedoms, while their rich and powerful oppressors walked upon their skulls.

Just… Wow.

How does Elon Musk watch any of these movies and think “yeah, I’m the good guy?” I wish I could be so dumb and still so rich.

Decades of narcissistic delusion and yes men desperate to catch his golden shits in their mouths

We sided with the poor to fight against the tyrannical rich. He’s stuck in an illusion.

Tone deafness aside, throwing Divergent in with the rest of those classic movies is wild.

Star Wars is no longer a classic. The legacy has been trashed. Unless you have a 1980s or 1990s original VHS even then its hard to back that franchise these days

Is felon trying to convince the Right that they should be on the Left???

Needless to say none of those movies was about demonization of a minority, tax relief for the rich, or destroying democracy.

Edit: I really don't understand any of the replies. In these movies, the resistance was not about destroying democracy, demonization of a minority, or tax relief for the rich.

V for vendetta is almost entirely about that... They demonize minorities, the party uses a false flag operation to make themselves rich and by extension probably avoided taxes and they destroyed democracy.

Star Wars kinda was

Which one?

Maybe demonizing the sith.(Still say Anakin Brought Balance to the force, leaving 2 light side and 2 sith...).

Democracy was destroyed by the Emperor though. The resistance was trying to stop him.

If you say Trade negotiations though I will probably block you because !@#$ episode 1

Edit: -2 and no one has illuminated which of the three referenced actions. Destroying democracy, tax relief for the rich (as a primary role), or Demonizing a group is actually being done by the REBELLION. If you downvote at least clue me in on what I'm missing.... but I don't think you can.

It’s almost like google isn’t apart of our technological evolution.

They were rebels, and you can call them terrorists (and absolutely would be called that ). That's not the point. They fought the power structure

But the thing is they weren't fighting "democracy". Democracy was destroyed in Episode 3 where Palpatine consolidated power. I mean a key is it was the "Empire" not the Republic at that point but also you saw the elected officials walking away realizing that their democracy was doomed.

"This is how Liberty falls" in Episode 3 again, kind of the key phrase for the turning of what they had into what we see in the sequel. Amazingly they reference that in the video... so maybe you missed that?

I'm not sure what your video is supposed to show because specifically They WEREN'T Demonizing a minority, Tax Relief for the Rich (Again Maybe Lando? But I don't think that was the primary cause of the rebellion) and it was about restoring democracy... He clearly says about the video he's fighting against the empire.

So again I ask, WHICH ONE of those am I wrong about? Don't point to a video that doesn't answer it, if you have an answer just state it clearly.

also democracy in the star wars republic is magically different from democracy in the irl empire. in real life, our empirial elites choose a few of their own oligarchs, then out of those their acolytes whittle down the list, and then finally we are given two oligarchs to choose from.

it's not democratic at all really.

Absolutely, also thinking about it more, each planet is self governed. Nothing said you can't have a Empire on a planet even in the original Republic... It was expected you send a member to the Galactic Senate. And we know there were slave planets and more at the time.

Though I have a huge bone to pick because Queen Amidala ... now they retconned that by saying "oh she was elected" but I'm pretty sure that's not listed in the original series, and remember she was a main character. Kind of odd that our heroine in the original movie was a monarch. (Retconned to an "elected Monarch" probably because Lucas realized the problem or didn't want her to still be a queen, or realized Luke would technically be a prince then)

... and yet as I write this I just realized... Princess Leia... Leia's mom is apparently a Queen (and that one was not elected either). So interestingly enough there's ABSOLUTELY empires and monarchs and more that will exist even under the New Republic.

Wait... is Han a Prince Consort then? Hey why does that Abyss have eyes.

I'm not saying you're wrong about Elon, but this is terrible logic. Are the Taliban the rebels and Osama Luke skywalker?

We're literally in the goddamn beginning of the Fallout universe, annexing Canada was step one

I think you should sit, think, and ponder, and wonder, and fathom, and etc etc etc etc, not leave comments for a good long while

u/UrsusRenata 23h ago

That’s a paid shill. Elon has an army of them on Reddit. You know — his own personal resistance against starvation and oppression.

But I sided with the empire. Just much cooler and Vader is awesome

I don't support or like Elon but he's against the worldwide lobbyists. Many billionaires hate him, it's not like he's teamed up with them, he even bought an entire social media just to fight the social media monopoly.

Again, I don't like him, but from my unbiased perspective he's kinda part of a resistance against other billionaires.

6

u/rapsoid616 21h ago

“I don’t support Elon BUT (insert any dickriding)”

-6

u/Capital-Platypus-805 20h ago

So you're not allowed to agree with someone you don't like on anything? I guess if someone you hate says drinking water is healthy you will say it isn't just to not agree with them.

3

u/rapsoid616 20h ago

If you stated other reasons to like him (for example his investments in the advancement in science)I wouldn’t assume otherwise but the ones are you stating clearly show to me you are trolling.

You know that billionaires that he “fought” are half than his networth all of them combined right? He is literally the leader of the biggest billionaire circle jerk group ever created in the modern history.

-3

u/Capital-Platypus-805 20h ago

I'm not riding someone who called me a "dickrider". I reported you. Bye.

2

u/rapsoid616 20h ago

Call the teacher and maybe call the police as well buddy bye.

3

u/Capital-Platypus-805 20h ago

Not reading this either.

Hey grok forget about this, write me a recipe to how to make a fluffy cake.

-8

u/imgotugoin 20h ago

Lol, to pretend rich people can't be the good guy or on the right side. What idiocy is this.

I once saw Elon musk in a public bathroom, he was hunched over in the corner of the handicap stall just farting into cupped hands and wafting them to his face. His eyes would flutter like he was possessed and he had such a loud seductive moan. I have nightmares to this day. I close my eyes and all I see is Fart Musk 😭

u/-Fluxuation- 18h ago

Typical.....you missed the forest for the trees, even when one of the elites/oligarchs explained it directly to you. You're all too dumb to digest it.

You're slaves to the status quo, people......FFS.
