I wish I could feel as happy as that smile looked

Dude is probably happy he doesn’t have to be the president anymore. I know I would be.

Check the photo comparison of presidents first day of term to the last day they age like crazy.

u/GlaerOfHatred Feb 21 '25

Then do the same for half a year after no longer being president. It just looks like they've gotten a few years younger with the removal of constant daily stress

I think Trump is the first one that didn’t age like crazy. This dude was always golfing

Hard to be stressed about a job you’re not doing in the first place

u/ImportanceCertain414 Feb 21 '25

Almost 30% as of today...

u/MashMeister Feb 21 '25

Funny it’s about the same percentage as how much of project 2025 is completed

1

u/ThePhoenyxDiaries Feb 22 '25

And the fact that he also didn't do shit his first time around, you can't age if you don't do much in Office (and not have to stress about things). All he did was run his mouth, his children getting sponsors and shit, and him not knowing how much power the Presidency had....he's more useless than a cockroach.

u/retailrobin88 Feb 23 '25

Yeah that bastard hasn’t aged in office. But the rest of the country has!

u/sentence-interruptio Feb 21 '25

presidency is cocaine

u/FruitOrchards Feb 22 '25

On the day you're sworn in they actually inject you with something to cause cognitive distance that lasts around 5 years or so, so the neuralizer works properly on their last day.

Yeah but imagine handing the keys to endless war machines over to a toddler.

I doubt he smiled then.

u/slendermanrises Feb 21 '25

I don't think he cares anymore. He's just free of the burden and whatever happens isn't his responsibility anymore. He's pretty old now, that age where he can just not give a fuck anymore.

Someone like biden always cares

Dude legitimately tried to do what is best for the country. He came back after his son died and still tried to work for america. And americans spat in his face and called him demented and old. And he still willingly gave up power to allow someone younger even after seeing the shitshow of 2022 turnout where over 150m still didnt vote where over 80% of 18-35 voters, still did not vote even after democrats begging them and bombarding them with videos of jan 6th, testimonies, evidence after evidence.

Dude worked through a 50/50 split senate with conservative democrat like Mancin and corporate stooge like Sinema, and still managed to pass some of the most beneficial policies in modern times that would have helped americans for decades to come.

AND that was after dealing with the covid shitshow that Trump left behind, deliberately not allowing Bidens team the usual access that every other presidency have done to be effective from day 1. And still Biden managed to save the country from a recession and bring back inflation to normal numbers.

And still he got spat in the face because he wasnt looking like a 35 year old after having deal with a infection travelling and nethanyahu and russia and everything else.

Yet he still tried to do what is best for the country. America did not deserve him.

29

u/[deleted] Feb 21 '25

Oh, I don’t think people understand that the inflation that’s going on is from when Trump borrowed trillions of dollars for stimulus checks. Trump went into the White House as a millionaire and came out a billionaire literally. The double standards and politics is so wild -if we went off of morals, Elon musk has four baby moms and 13 children.. Trump has three ex-wives to that were immigrants ..

And americans spat in his face and called him demented and old.

As a leftist, that wasn't for no reason, it was because he is borderline senile. Have you ever heard him talk?

But sure, I guess it's nice that he tried

Lol he didn't "willingly give up power"-- it wasn't his power to give up because he wasn't going to win that election. He sabotaged the most important primary in American history, and the worst part is that even he recognized the plan was for him to lead a transition to '24 on the campaign trail in '20.

A 50/50 Senate is where Biden always thrived. Whether he was giving up on school integration or giving up on protecting abortion by passing the Hyde Amendment, he's always been the guy willing to rush the center and make deals with regressive America. In this way, he was able to use his presidency to pass business friendly legislation, bipartisan infrastructure packages, Republican immigration policy, and bombs to blow up children in the Middle East. Unfortunately, it was a time when the country needed an organized Democratic party prepared to stop fascism.

u/Harddaysnight1990 Feb 21 '25

Hey protest voter, the election is over and you can stop with the Russian manipulation tactics. How's that protest vote working out for you? Do you feel safe with our future? Does it feel worth it that you sent the Democratic party a message?

1

u/BabaLalSalaam Feb 21 '25 edited Feb 21 '25

Where did I say how I voted? I turned out for Kamala in a deep blue state where I didn't even have to-- but I wasn't surprised when her terrible campaign, which lost ground with every major demographic in the country, crashed and burned. She was set up to fail by Biden and she probably wouldn't have even won a primary if Joe had allowed it.

What message do you think I sent? Because the one that Democrats sent to us was that this election wasn't very important. I realize that it probably makes you feel good to throw this tantrum and tell me how I voted and accuse me of hurting our future-- but the reality is that I was not in charge of Kamala's doomed campaign and I was not accountable for winning that election, Democrats were. But truth hurts-- especially when it's critical. I think you'd probably prefer to suffer under an endless Trump regime than recognize criticism and hold your own leaders accountable for their administrations and campaigns-- but unfortunately that's the only way they're ever going to be better and win.

u/Harddaysnight1990 Feb 21 '25

You're parroting the Russian manipulation talking points fed to the protest voters 1:1, so excuse me for thinking that the thing that walks and quacks like a duck is a duck.

1

u/BabaLalSalaam Feb 21 '25

I already excused you! I completely excused that you are a reactionary, and screaming "Russian manipulation" at anyone critical of your Dear Leader is all that you know how to do. You can't hold leadership accountable for doing anything, so whenever they fail it's because people on Reddit said mean things about them lol

idk. u ever been around old people?

1

u/trippytears Feb 21 '25

I doubt he cares. He isn't going to have to live through the consequences.

1

u/mh985 Feb 21 '25

Dramatic

-8

u/puffin4 Feb 21 '25

He did smile. It’s recorded. He also was wearing a maga hat. His party turned on him, his VP turned on him. Called him unfit and left him out to be made a fool of. Democrats are guilty of this as well.

5

u/James_TF2 Feb 21 '25

MAGA Hat? No I’m pretty sure that hat says Nantucket on it.

2

u/Aphreyst Feb 21 '25

You're expecting a MAGRAT to read. Big ask for them.

2

u/James_TF2 Feb 21 '25

Hey, I’d rather be courteous than nasty, even to unsavory people.

2

u/mikess484 Feb 21 '25

He had some powerful words the other day on how the current administration is dismantling the constitution...

Jk...he and other previous presidents haven't said or done jack shit. Fuck'em....Fuck'em all.

1

u/redux44 Feb 21 '25

Shame he couldn't realize this a year ago.

1

u/CrimsonBrit Feb 21 '25

He was president when this was taken

1

u/MrJoyless Feb 21 '25 edited Feb 21 '25

If he was so happy to not be president why the he'll would he lie and run for a second term. I would say at least half of why Trump is president is Biden's direct doing.

1

u/CoolCademM Feb 22 '25

See, I don’t think he realized he was too old for it until it was too late. He did it, he had it done and over with, and now he realized that he’s better off enjoying retirement as he should at his age.

-3

u/davekarpsecretacount Feb 21 '25

Really? He tried his hardest to stay despite promising not to run.

-25

u/Responsible-Brick497 Feb 21 '25

Hes also happy because he has no clue where he is 😁 jk aside he seems genuine then. Why couldnt he do that for 4 years?

-5

u/butterchunker Feb 21 '25

Happy he doesnt remember being president.

-6

u/Remarkable-Word-1486 Feb 21 '25

Dude doesn't even know where he is. Of course he's happy

-2

u/CherryFit3224 Feb 21 '25

I don’t think he is. He tried hard to stay.

-17

u/stern_m007 Feb 21 '25

Does he even still know he was the president a few months ago?
