What makes you think it’s the mom or dad shooting the video? That’s relative work when gift giving.

I think getting a toy bike from your sister is an expected level of gift that he could be happy receiving from her. But the surprise actual bike is where she's at in life (maybe she's early 20s) and so she gifted that too, which is why he's happy with the toy initially.
