Cultivators weren't able to get rid of the foreigners during the Boxer Rebellion and were no match for cannons and machine guns, so it's a wash

Look, I'm not trying to make fun of cultivators here, I'm just saying mages and cultivators should bond over their traumas not pick on each other--

That's kinda hilarious given the ridiculous difficulty in actually becoming rank 7 in WMW. Like, the Chernobyl Island's were as big as the eurasian continent, the South coast many times bigger, the central continent even bigger than that, and that was just the top layer of the magus world. And in the countless years since the war against the World of Gods, not a single person succeeded in actually reaching rank 7 except the guy with a literal cheat.

Compare this to some xianxia like, say, The Sage Who Transcended Samsara, where every earth sized planet could regularly get people who could extend their lifespans indefinitely prior to the concept of lifespan getting damaged?

This isn't to mention how η₯žη§€δΉ‹δΈ» implies that Leylin ditched the entire Magus power system in favor of a superior cultivation system.

EDIT: To clarify, η₯žη§€δΉ‹δΈ» is a novel by the author of WMW, which is set in the same verse as WMW, but reaches higher power levels than any other book in the setting
