people have collective memory of a goldfish, Wilds getting same exact criticism as World did and these same people jizzing over world will be jizzing over wilds once they upgrade their pc and stop watching youtube to be told what to think before game is even out
I love MH but this isn't a case of upgrading your PC; the game runs horribly and has no excuse to perform the way it does on PS 5 or PC. Needs more optimisation.
Best selling only because it was the first release on Xbox and PlayStation, and catered to a more mainstream audience. Rise and GU are vastly better games. World lacks the depth of the other games, that's just a fact. There wasn't anything resembling weapon arts or hunting styles that GU had. How can that not possibly be a step backwards?
Rise wasn't a better game lmao. Not only was it a step down in graphics quality, the monster fights were so easy due to player power being so astronomical that even newbies were ripping through it. The mobility in that game was ridiculous. The hunts were so short. It was way to easy to grind gear because you could have a full set in like 2 hunts. It was a mobile experience on a home console. It also had zero endgame before updates.
World follows the same realistic more story focused design that the mainline games are now leaning for after World. But it seems the more standard affair will remain alive with the portable games such as Rise. And World was banging wtf do you mean.
World is definitely not the weakest, and no it’s not THAT similar. The monster diversity is a lot better and it has pretty much all new mechanics/systems(no clutch claw).
for majority it is the best game in the series. it outsold the entire franchise on its own. and has some of the most difficult fights to ever exist in MH
