I'm not even TCSing as much these days 😭😭

Monsters just don't care and smack me right after lol

After landing your TCS try rolling immediately after. It'll remove the "cool down" and you can snap into a block immediately after. This'll let you stop the monster from smacking you after!

If you hold a direction while blocking you also skip most of the recovery frames. It's pretty much as good as rolling out. Most of the time I get instant perfect guards after landing TCS, it's pretty neat.

I forgot to mention that. That's a huge point!

I'll have to try that!

Sometimes I feel I go too much for the TCS because of world and rise and have to play a bit more conservative ;--;

Yeah, you should be rolling out of your last hits, whether its first, second or TCS. I like to play with crit draw and quick sheathe skills because it makes me much less greedy- that first hit full charge becomes the money-maker

My play style is based on aggro. If I have aggro, I'm looking to offset, force a clash, or bust wounds. If I don't have aggro I'm going for a TCS since I should have the time for it.

Trying to TCS with a monster staring you down is asking to get hit.

Alternatively you can use traps, flash a monster out of the sky, or try to proc sleep/paralysis(have your palico ALWAYS use the lala barina stun weapons) to make landing a TCS easier.

You can also go right into charging the offset upswing while still in TCS recovery.

Focus mode made it so much easier to land them. Easily 3-4x more often.

I don't think they fully accounting for the difference focus mode plus wounding made. Monster Health needs to be higher.
