MHW - Has performance improved from the new update? I want to pick up the game but this is my only hold up.

kind of? it's a weird thing-

I personally the game felt smoother last night, but the graphics looked off from the usual, so idk if it was for the better or for the worse

but at the same time, my game crashed yesterday too so...

there are also a LOT of questions in this thread (earlier on) questioning if the servers were working and/or them getting weird errors that started after TU1

I think there's one person who says the game is unplayable for them, with it constantly crashing

Any chance you use DLSS Swapper and the update reverted your DLSS to older version?

no, I only used the DirectStorage("DirectStorage 1.2.2 Upgrade to 1.2.3 - IO Stutter Fix") mod pre-TU1 as well as a custom config file ("Monster Hunter Wilds – Performance Boost Config"), which uses FSR I believe (but I do use a 3070 RTX card)
