MH Wilds Some guy was pissed about shielded weapons

I joined this quest to hunt a tempered Arkveld because it had a unholy amount of rewards and this guy was who I joined was running the hunting horn. Anyhow this guy began to get angry because he was trying to max out DPS or something. To be honest I don't know but anyhow, he wasn't happy that I was using Gunlance and told me to get off it for two reasons, weapons with guards are inherently no skill by design, and guarding takes away from DPS. Anyhow he proceeded to text something to the other guy who joined which was a SnS telling him to get off SnS or don't block. He spent most of the hunt texting lmao

This isn't anything extreme but it was amusing to me and I wanted to share

Idk what he's smoking. Gunlance and SnS have some crazy damage, plus the perfect block perks increase that even more

I run a full flayer SnS build. So many wounds, even on tempered monsters, and have the agitator and perfect block thing(forget what it's called) and I absolutely shred things.

Did they fix the flayer bug yet? I've been sitting at level 4 since 5 was supposedly busted

It isn't and never was bugged, it's just garbage. It only works on specific attacks per weapon, and it also doesn't do very much even when you're using those attacks. Chances are you'll get pretty much just as many wounds not using Flayer as you're getting with Flayer lol.
