It's less so the difficulty of monster mechanics that we don't like, monster designs are great in wilds!

It's moreso that over the years the player character keeps getting more and more powerful, with higher ability to either maneuver or cause knockdowns, leading to the tempo of fights being controlled more by the hunter and less by the monster. It's more a complaint over the shifting flavor of the fights of the monster being the boss to you being the boss.
