MH Wilds Bedazzling the Soap Fox

Had a disconnect near the end of the hunt and Mizu glitched out. Hitting it wouldn't get it unstuck so I just took some silly pictures with it before ending its quest

The one Mizutsune not in heat. Man just stopped mid attack and asked himself why is he doing this.

You know, I've seen people use the word "heat" twice now. I think being in heat is a term for the female of the species.

Looking into it, the proper term would be in "rut".

"Some male species, like goats, deer, and camels, experience a period of heightened sexual activity and fertility, often referred to as "rut". During the rut, males display more aggressive tendencies and seek out fertile females, often becoming more active and less cautious."

You're right I should've used rut instead since people here know enough about Mizutsune to make jokes about it. Then again I think rut is a less common word so it might not get across.

Heh ye I probably wouldn't have known what the hell you were talking about if you said rut either honestly.

At the very least, it's pretty neat reading about a real world behavior in animals that this was probably based on.

Yup. All of the ones we hunt are stated to be males in rut. It's why they're so aggressive in the first place.
