MH Wilds Bedazzling the Soap Fox

Had a disconnect near the end of the hunt and Mizu glitched out. Hitting it wouldn't get it unstuck so I just took some silly pictures with it before ending its quest

Its title in both English and Japanese is literally Bubble Fox Wyvern.

I mean its shape language and out of combat behaviour is very fox like. I'm sure its inspirations were mostly east asian dragons and foxes and combining them into one

The main inspiration behind Mizutsune is the Nine Tailed Fox Yokai from Japanese mythology. The name literally means "Water fox".

It's even more obvious if you look at his name in the Japanese version, Tamamitsune. It's a reference to Tamamo No Mae, who is THE Nine Tailed Fox.

Mizutsune is a combination of two words: mizu (water) and kitsune (fox). There ya go, it's a fox, not a dragon
