Next run will be Walz and AOC.

I would prefer AOC and Walz, but you guys are not seemingly ready for such a wild ride.

I get the appeal, but AOC simply doesn’t have the experience. She’s never been an executive.

doesn’t have the experience.

What counts as experience to you?

She grew in an all American background and pushed herself forward.

She cares and wants what is best for American people - maybe not for oligarchs!?!

Sorry, can you explain how she doesn’t have experience?

She’s never been an executive.

Again I am from the EU but : Since 2019 she has worked as the U.S. representative for New York's 14th congressional district.

Some of you people have an issue with Woman, gays, trans, whatever. I like people who are passionate and qualified.

(not GP, but am in US)

House Rep -> President is a somewhat uncommon jump for people to do. Usually, people spend time as Senator, Governor, or VP beforehand. Aside from our current president, the last person to be president without having done one of those roles first was Eisenhower, who never had an elected office before but did have a lot of experience in the military during WWII.

Also, in terms of age, she'd be the youngest president we've ever had, by several years.

I'd 100% support her for president, but she does objectively have less experience than your typical president, and that definitely will be used against her in a campaign.

Ok, I get what you are saying.

But look at the times we live in.

My point was that she would be a great president.

I am not from the USA, so I am being idealistic.

She and Sanders would actually Make Americans All Democrats MAAD?!?!

Can't think why I was never hired for their campaign. :)

Absolutely, I agree that she'd be great as president, I was just steel-manning the "she's inexperienced" argument.

Being a legislator isn’t an executive.

The idea that I have to hate woman to think executive experience is important for the most impactful executive position on the planet is pathetically laughable. She has a lot of potential to do the job well, but it’s too important a role to give to someone who has never led anything before. Bring passionate doesn’t magically impart the ability to manage such a complex operation as the federal Executive department well. Give her a cabinet position, make her a governor, I don’t care. She just can’t learn how to be an exec on the job as President. Leading such a large organization is an actual skill that needs to be developed like any other.
