C Bell is my favorite driver. I had some errands to run, so I was only able to watch the highlights and it didn't mention why Bell lost like 20 positions. So, what did happen to Bell?

Parents snapped these during practice this morning. Love those painted side skirts.

Now I know that the top 10 finishes get stage points and everyone gets points in the final stage but in the 1st 2 stages, do drivers get any points at all if they finish outside the top 10? I know they don't get any stage points but do they get anything at all or would they only get anything in the final stage?
We have obviously seen some of the drivers unhappy with the throwback weekend, but for next year, I was thinking that they should do something similar to what the NHL did with the reverse retro jerseys, bringing back an old scheme but adding a twist to it. It would be cool to see new iterations of schemes we have loved.

It’s weird how they didn’t use Ricky Craven’s 32, but pasted the Penske 12 on the hood of Ryan Newman. Cursed.

MLB did a turn the clock ahead deal in the 90's with futuristic uniforms and such, trying to imagine future paint schemes instead could be fun, maybe let AI crew chief for Cody Ware or something too

I’m interested in getting one of these mini scanners mentioned above but there’s not a lot of helpful reviews on them. The three main things I’m interested in are audio quality, reception quality and battery life.

I’m not sure if this is allowed so if the mods want, they can delete this. But I’ll put it up just incase it is. If you’re trying to get an antenna for the CW, first off, don’t fall for Amazon scams. Don’t buy the UMustHave or any other Junky flat antenna or nub. Stick with a reputable company. Don’t buy the cheapest thing. It doesn’t work unless you’re in really strong signal areas. So strong in fact, you can pick them up with a paper clip moat likely. Go to rabbitears.info. There, you can see where your local CW affiliate is, the direction and RF channel. That’s important because VHF and UHF are different, and require certain elements to be picked up with. If you don’t see your CW affiliate, or it’s too far away, check the subchannels by clicking the station. Good chance that it’s also a subchannel of another station.

Ever since CW took over, my market doesn't get Xfinity races anymore. Even when they're supposed to be available on the app, they only have the driver perspective races (without commentary).
What is up with this? Why would you bid on a contract only to not show the races??

First off, Darlington is probably my favorite track on the schedule. The racing is consistently amazing, and it really rewards hard driving. And with the extensive history of the track, it's the perfect backdrop for an event like this.
But personally, the throwback weekend is super important to me. I'm in my late 30s now, and I grew up watching the races every Sunday with my Dad. To this day, I try to carve out a day to watch at least one of the Busch or Cup races with him each weekend.
My dad had a brain injury in 2015 that's robbed him of a lot. He has difficulty with speech, really bad aphasia, and difficulty holding onto recently formed memories; but weirdly, his mind for all older memories is still remarkably sharp. As a result of that, the throwback race consistently produces some of the best and sharpest conversations I get to have with my dad.
Seeing all the cars from the 90s and 00s, he's able to bring up memories and feel reconnected to the sport in a way he's just incapable of every other week of the year. It always seems to brighten him up and give him a little bit more focus, similar to the way old music does. It's really a special thing to see him perk up and have the mental focus and energy to really enjoy it
It makes me feel a little bit like I've got my dad back, the way he was.

He probably would have gotten 1-2 Xfinity wins in both 2024 and probably by the end of 2025 as well, while not setting the world on fire in the process due to the fact that Jeff Meendering has never been a dominant crew chief in NASCAR.
Still baffled by the fact that both Sammy and Brandon Jones fixed something that wasn’t broke. Thankfully, Jones is back at JGR with Sam McAulay, and I’m looking forward to seeing his results the rest of the season.
Was it indeed a mistake by Sammy Smith to join JRM? Will the door ever re-open for a Gibbs reunion?
