Moderator Annoucement The “best evidence” for the paranormal is getting harder to find every time someone asks for it.

This question is being asked several times a week at this point.

Everyone has a different standard for what they consider “credible evidence,” and what persuades one person may not persuade another. What seems to do the best job is having a personal experience, but those anecdotal stories rarely persuade anyone who wasn’t already a believer.

Either way, the best way to find this evidence is by…you know…looking for it. Try using the search function on the subreddit.

And to all of you skeptics who were genuinely convinced by a piece of evidence you found online, please post it on this subreddit!

Findings I work as a caregiver and I saw something creepy

So I was at my clients home during a overnight, I work 6:30 to 8:30 AM. At night, I’m there by myself and he sleeps for 12 hours. I am there to make sure he doesn’t wake up and fall and he’s alone or he walks out of the house, he has dementia.

So he’s sleeping in his bed and I’m looking at the baby monitor, it’s 11:11Pm and suddenly, the blankets of his bed lift into the air like someone is holding them. Obviously no one is there in the room. It’s held there for like 3 seconds and goes back down.

I’m seriously creeped out, not sure if a draft could do this but no windows are open and his doorway is closed. So not sure what happened or if I just saw a poltergeist.

Just more detail but I’m here by myself and this house is a mansion, it’s completely quiet at night and sometimes it’s creepy. I try not to think about scary stuff because I’m there to do a job but yeah that was weird.

Cryptids My boyfriend encountered something unexplainable near Holmdel, New Jersey

Upvotes

This happened a little while ago, and I also want to mention I was not there for the encounter itself. However, I find it hard to explain it with a logical circumstance.

My boyfriend and I live in Jersey. He’s not a spiritual person, and doesn’t believe in Bigfoot or any kind of cryptid. That was until one day he was driving late at night on a back road near Holmdel. It was completely dark outside and he was driving alone. Out of no where, he was startled by a bony, pale, hairless (and near humanoid) figure. It cleared the entire road in two gallops. It was huge, had no hair, and it was pale. He said its hind limbs were contorted and bent unnaturally, like some sort of deer.

In utter fear he just kept driving and did not stop to investigate. I could tell it scared him half to death when he told me the story for the first time.

I understand it is often easy to confuse animals outdoors at night with limited visibility. Especially when you’re driving and the encounter happens in a split second. However, we struggle to find an explanation for the color, size, and shape of this thing. I can’t think of any local animal that could resemble this description. Through friends and family we’ve also learned that the surrounding area has had high paranormal activity for a long time. Though I’m not sure if that is related at all.

I just wanted to share this spooky story, and maybe find anyone else who’s had similar sighting in New Jersey.

Apparition Ghosts CAN hurt you!

This is a wild one from my childhood:

I think I was about 7 years old and had just gotten my first real bicycle. I was allowed to ride it on my street only, but you know how kids are and soon I was wrapping around the end to a side street. I met this little girl on another bicycle, and she looked to be the same age as me. Somehow we started throwing rocks down the street to see who could throw the furthest and she said to me, "I bet you can't hit that lamp over there!" as she pointed at a very fancy lamp on someone's walkway. Well, I took that dare, pulled my arm back and let go. I hit it alright. Shattered the glass all over their sidewalk! Immediately, the front door of the house flew open and an old lady came out yelling, "Why did you do that?!" I turned to look for the little girl and she had already pedalled off. I took off in the other direction back to my house and didn't tell anyone.

Now, I did not have my own room and had to sleep on Grandma's couch (long story). She had ONE rule: Turn the tv off before you fall asleep. If not, you lose privileges. She went through the Great Depression so was tight about everything. So everyone went to bed upstairs and it was only me downstairs on the couch under my blanket. I always had trouble sleeping in that house, so I would watch tv late into the night. All of a sudden, the tv went off. Now it was not a remote control tv, just a 19" RCA color. But I could still see that the power was on outside the house and the electric clock was still ticking. Within seconds, a figure appeared to be coming out of Grandma's curio cabinet that was to the right of the tv (couch was on the left). I could see a woman form and it was walking towards me. I WAS TERRIFIED! I ducked under my blanket and covered my head. I heard very loudly, "WHY DID YOU DO THAT? WHY DID YOU BREAK THAT LAMP?" The sound was so loud in my right ear like her mouth was up against the blanket. I was shaking like crazy and sweating. Then, the ghost grabbed my right bicep and squeezed really hard and repeated, "WHY DID YOU DO THAT?".

Instantly, the tv came back on and it was over. I spent the rest of the night under the blanket and would not even peep out. Sweat was pouring off of me because it was a hot summer night, but I was not turning that tv off. I thought that as long as it was on, the ghost wasn't coming back to hurt me again.

I heard Grandma get up at dawn, walk down stairs, and call my name as she shut off the tv. "I though I told you not to leave the tv on!" I jumped up and hugged her and told her why it was on and her jaw dropped and she said, "Oh come on now! Don't lie to me!" Then I showed her my arm which now had a big bruise on it. Suddenly, she looked shocked for a moment. I thought surely she had to believe me now. But instead, she looked down at the floor and said, "You were dreaming and fell off the couch. Don't leave the tv on again." and hurried into the kitchen.

(I am sorry this is so long but I want to tell it all)

Mom then woke up and came downstairs. I ran to her and said, "Mom I have to tell you something right now before you go in the kitchen, come here." And I whispered to her about what happened. Mom nodded her head and said, "The reason Grandma got upset is you saw her mom - your Great Grandmother who you never got to meet. She passed away a long time ago and has never left this house. We've all seen her at times. She was watching over you because she loves you."

So bottom line is this: ghosts CAN connect with you and physically harm you as it happened to me. It was NOT a dream and falling of the couch 12 inches to thick carpet isn't going to cause a giant bruise on a boy.

Experience I Saw something on the side of the road. It was eating a dead dog or goat.

I really wish I took a picture to ensure that I am not making this up, but the bus immediately left. This is not fiction, I am not crazy, and I swear to God that I know what I saw and it gave me nightmares.

Instantly, this experience reverted me back to that little kid who was afraid of going out at night because of all the stories his family told him.

Okay, let me explain. So, I'm a 1st year college student, every weekend—I go home to my hometown which is two hours away by bus from the city I attend university in, so that I can spend time with family and not get homesick.

I spent the entire bus ride watching movies on my phone because, I was bored. It was around 7 in the evening if I remember correctly.

I put my phone in my bag, because it was around 15 percent and I wanted to preserve the power. The bus was already halfway to my home, according to Google Maps.

We were in a rural area. Mountains and a big forest towards the right side of the bus, on the left are a few houses and more forest.

The bus slowed down, to the point of nearly stopping, because a couple of vehicles were slowing down in front of us. I looked outside the window next to me and that's where I saw it. I couldn't believe what I just fucking saw and I wasn't the only one. The guy sitting beside me also saw it.

On the side of the road, underneath the street light, we saw what looked like a naked person crawling on all fours eating what looked like a dead dog or goat. There was blood everywhere, it was eating it in a savage manner while dragging it to the woods.

I immediately got out my phone to take a picture, but, the bus was already speeding up and I couldn't see it anymore. What the hell did we just see!?

It looked human. The scariest part is how much it looked like my grandmother's descriptions from her stories.

Skin black as coal. Wild unkempt hair. Eyes that glowed in the dark when faced with light.

I turned to the guy who was sitting beside me and told me never to speak of it ever again. What, why!?

Everytime I think back to it, I am reminded of the stories they used to tell us as kids. Stories from our folklore, about man-eating evil monsters that hunted at night. We call them Aswang.

Humans by day, but hunt for children and pregnant women at night. Shapeshifters that can turn into animals to fool people. Some steal corpses and replace them with banana stalks, while others have wings and fly atop roofs to use their long tongues to suck blood.

I heard stories about this a lot because, a lot of my older family have encountered these bastards before.

With my grandma, it snuck inside their house during a power outage and tried to hurt my newborn aunt. She saw it crawling on the ceiling, wtf. My grandpa got out his 1911, scaring it away.

And my aunt, who lived in the mountains, said that one of them climbing on top of a roof.

Apparition Creepy experience i had at church

I don't know if this is the right community to post this in (if it's not, I apologize), but it has made me feel so anxious, paranoid, and scared ever since it happened.

I (15F) used to be a part of an organization at church when I was 12 years old. I remember it was Holy Week when it happened. We were doing a midnight Station of the Cross. It was supposed to be at 12:00 A.M., but they moved it to 3:00 A.M. because it rained. I arrived exactly at 1:57 A.M. and was greeted by the parish priest, and he was heading to the convent upstairs. I headed to the place where me and my other co-church servants, were gathered, called the parish hall. I placed my stuff there, and after a few minutes, one of my co-church servants arrived—let's call her Ashley.

Ashley and I were pretty close, so we talked for a bit. Eventually, time passed, and it was around 2:30 A.M. Ashley told me she was hungry, so I told her there was a nearby 7-Eleven that was open 24 hours. We both grabbed our bags and walked out of the parish hall. Most of the lights around the church were still off, and you could barely see anything outside. The only lights that were on were the ones inside the church.

Ashley and I were walking in the corridor. To our right were big doors leading inside the church. These doors had clear glass panels with pictures of the Stations of the Cross. I turned to my right and saw a priest inside the church. I was shocked because the main church doors were still closed. I looked again and saw that the priest was wearing red—and he had no head. He was kneeling, his body facing the altar, holding a blue rosary in his hands.

I told Ashley, and she saw it too. We ran to 7-Eleven, where we spotted our church officers on their way to church. By this time, Ashley and I had already exited the church grounds. We told our church officers about what we saw, and they were freaked out. We bought our things at 7-Eleven and headed back to the church. By then, it was around 3:10 A.M.

After this experience, another one followed.

It was Black Saturday that day. My co-church servants and I were inside the church, attending Mass. We were sitting in the first row of the fuse. Our church had a Facebook page where they posted pictures taken during the Mass. One of the photographers took a picture of us—none of us were facing the camera; we were all looking toward the altar.

The next day, the pictures were posted on Facebook. As usual, my co-church servants and I checked them. That’s when we noticed something unsettling.

There was a lady dressed in a black lace dress, with curly hair and a black veil. We noticed her immediately because she was sitting between my co-church servants, and her dark clothing contrasted sharply with ours—we were all wearing white dresses and white veils.

We were so creeped out because the spot where the lady in black was sitting was exactly where I had been standing.

I saved the picture and showed it to my parents when I got home. They were creeped out, too. They called the priest, and he came to bless our house and our family members.

The next day, I found out that this wasn’t the first time it had happened.

The woman in black had appeared in that same exact spot in every Black Saturday photo taken in that location. It had happened twice before, and my experience made it the third time.

After that, I never attended that church again.

Shadow Man False Awakening Dreams

I'm having them more and more, and it creeps the hell out of me. I'll lay down in bed to go to sleep, and then I open my eyes to see a figure standing at the foot of my bed or peeping into my room through the cracked door. Sometimes it'll be a hand reaching over my body from the head of my bed, or something walking past my field of vision on the side of my bed. I always notice the figure immediately, so I never have time to process what's going on beyond the initial rush of adrenaline as I shoot awake and realize it was a dream. I can never get a good look at the figure, but it appears like a living shadow in the shape of an adult human male.

I'm fairly convinced that the physical reality we occupy is just a small part of a larger system, and my suspicion is that our consciousness generates the 3D reality (rather than the other way around). This leads me to believe that dreams are not just figments of our imagination, but another facet of reality generated by our consciousness which is just as real as our waking reality. That belief makes it even creepier.

Does anyone else have experiences like this?

Experience Weird things happing in my house

So a friend of mine had passed away and went to the funeral. After the funeral my mom called telling me to take a bath before going to the bed as she's a little superstitious.

The next day I'm in my room on the bed around 6-7 in the night and she calls again asking how I am and ranting about how I shouldn't have went to the funeral when strangely enough, my door closed by it's self as she's on the topic, I thought it was the wind just to realise my windows are closed. Straight after that the line started to cut between me and my mom to where she couldn't hear me anymore.

That's about all the stuff that happened that night but I've also had other weird stuff happen like the light switched turning on by itself or my phones volume turning itself down(which must a technical problem). I honestly don't know what to think of it so I'm asking for your people's opinion.

Experience I Saw an Actual Ghost as a kid

This happened around 1977 when I was almost 11 yrs old, and my cousin was 10 yrs old. I was at my cousin's house for the weekend. She lived in a duplex where her grandparents lived in the bottom apartment, and my cousin and her family lived up the stairs in the top two floors.

My cousin's grandfather (her mother's dad, I'm related to her father) was a mean old man. All he did was yell and he scared the shit out of me. My cousin Lisa was pretty hyperactive, and he was always yelling out the door at her when we played outside. Every time I heard that scary voice, I'd jump out of my skin, freeze on the spot, and was scared he'd walk over and hurt us. He never hurt us though, but that thunderous voice made me fear that. I subsequently found out he was a pretty heavy drinker.

One sunny summer's day her and I were playing catch with a ball in the lane way. This was the year after her grandfather died in 1976 (thank God). There were angled bay windows facing this lane way that looked into her grandmother's living room. For some unknown reason, I swear I don't know why, Lisa and I stopped playing catch and gazed into her grandma's bay windows. (Grandma was upstairs with Lisa's mom). All of a sudden, we saw a full-bodied form slowly materialize in front of the fireplace and mantle. You could tell it was shaped like a tall man. Even though this figure was translucent and not detailed, I could tell this figure was wearing an old man cardigan. We were on the outside looking into a dark room but there was no mistaking this bright figure that lingered for several minutes. No face either, but I just knew it was facing us. I literally felt the energy around us supercharge (even though we were outside) and it felt like time just stopped.

The figure slowly but surely faded (like the faze out on the old Star Trek) and Lisa and I slowly turned to face each other with our mouths open in surprise. I said to her only "did you see that?" She said "yeah that was my grandpa!". We ran into the house, tore up those stairs and yelled about what we saw to her mother and grandmother. Of course they laughed it off and talked about our imaginations. I was extra scared because I hated and feared her mean, scary grandfather.....and he was back!

Twenty years later, I visited Lisa so our toddlers could play together. I asked her "do you remember what we saw in your grandma's living room when we were kids?" Lisa replied, "Yes, I remember". And we've never mentioned it again.

Haven't seen anything before or since. My story is not as scary or exciting as other people's, but to this day, I feel conflicted about it. I sort of DON'T believe in ghosts, but I know what I saw on that warm, sunny summer's day. And it WAS a ghost.

Question What was ur first paranormal experience?

Mine was when I was a kid, I saw a ghost of a lil boy, found out later it was the spirit of my mom's lil brother who died from a enlarged heart. The house was the place my mom grew up in. I remember I only saw him for about a second or two, then he disappeared.

Question I don't know what to make of this

Upvotes

I want to start by saying that I am not a true believe nor a skeptic. I think that there are a lot of unknowns in this world and the afterlife is one of them. I experienced things in my life, mostly in my childhood, but I always thought of them as an overactive imagination.

Now to my dilemma. We moved into this house in 2021, it's a new house, we bought it from the project stage so we are the first owners. The land was farm land back in the day so nothing strange there. There weren't any wars in our area, we don't live in USA so no native burial grounds nothing like that.

A couple of weeks ago I started to not feel alone in the house. I feel watched, I see something out of the corner of my eye and hear a lot of weird sounds. The sounds are not new, and since we moved I always thought it was the house settling. Sometimes when I go in one of the bedrooms the bed makes a sound like someone is sitting down on it. In the beginning I thought it was because of the floors not being leveled, and I was stepping on a floor board that moved the bed, but now I don't know.I live with my partner and our cat, but during the day it's only me and the cat at home. It happens during the day, not so much at night.

Whenever I see things out of the corner of my eye it's like someone is passing by. I also see this outside in the garden and I know there isn't anyone since our garden is fenced and it always happens during the day. If I had to describe it it's like a tall dark figure walking in the distance.

The cat hasn't been acting strange since I noticed all of these weird things, so I don't know what to think about them.

I work from home so I am the one experiencing all of this most of the time. There were a few instances when my partner was in the office with the back towards the door, alone, and felt cold air comming to his desk. He thinks it's one of our dogs that passed away since whenever he calls it by name and tells it to stop and go to bed it always stops.

We also believe that our cat is the reincarnation of our other dogs since he does all the exact things that he did when he was alive.

What do you think about this?

P.S, while I was writing this the bed in our second bedroom made a noise. It's only me and the cat in the house, we are both in the living room

Unexplained Bedside lamp turns on in the middle of the night

Every night I turn out my bedside lamp. Every night I do this. I can not sleep with it on. But for 5 nights in a row, I have woken up in the middle of the night with my lamp on. Always at the exact same time: 2:09 AM. I'm just peacefully sleeping in the dark, when out of the blue, I'm woken by the lamp. I don't know if I wake up just after it turns on, or if it stays on for hours before I wake up. I don't know if I'm hallucinating about turning it off before bed, but I know that I can't sleep when it's bright

Tall white spirit with featheres

Hey everyone, recently I have encountered something strange in my own house. I've been living here for a few years and have never really seen any paranormal activity in the house. It was around 2am and I was on my desk in the living room when I was about to go to sleep. As I was leaving this desk, from the corner of my eye I see an opague giant (like 7 to 8 ft tall) white spirit with white flowy clothing and what appeared to be like feathers. It did not look really human. It also reminded me of a giant scarecrow. It was not super skinny. I didn't feel that much of a negative vibe from it honestly, but it was just watching over me looking down at me (I'm quite short and again this spirit was so tall)

I keep trying to find information but I can't seem to find anything that is quite like this. Is it a demon? Who knows.

The only other paranormal experience I had in this place was a few months ago when I was trying to sleep and heard someone talk to me in my ear with what seems to be latin.

Does anyone have an idea of what this could be? Thanks

Encounter Has anyone experienced something like this?

I didn’t know where else to share this but I have to talk about it, Something growled at my cat from under my bed. To explain I have two cats, I was lying in bed after waking up, my girlfriend standing in the door way just feet away. One of our cats approaches the bed to jump up and then suddenly a low growl from what sounds like coming from under my bed. The growl almost sounded exactly like a feline growling, it stopped my cat in her tracks and she ran away to the other room lightning fast, we both heard it and I assumed it was our other cat named Bobby. I tried to tell Bobby off when my girlfriend interrupted me and said “Bobby’s in the living room” which was on the other side of the door way she was standing in, she could see both cats. We have no other pets so this was an odd one for me, not quite how I wanted to wake up today lol.

Question Metal Cup Randomly Falls off my table

Its 11:20 in the night. I was lying in my bed attempting to sleep. And then, out of nowhere, my metal cup randomly falls on the ground. And it fell quite far away from my table. I put the cup in the middle of the table, away from the edge. Its been 40 minutes, and i've spend the first 39 trying to process what happened. This is the first time it happened. I suspect that its related with something i received as a gift, A nice muslim grandma gave me one of those packets for Hari Raya. And the incident happened on the same day. Im just suspecting. No Islamophobia btw.

Unexplained Heard a facebook messenger call, but no device was found.

I want to share something strange that happened to me and my wife in June 2022. We were at home, casually watching a movie in the living room, when something completely unexplainable occurred.

Out of nowhere, we heard the distinct Facebook Messenger ringtone . It wasn’t from the movie or the TV,it was coming from right next to our sofa.

At first, we thought it was a glitch in the audio or maybe a part of the movie’s sound , but it continued for several seconds. It wasn’t a faint sound, either — it was loud and clear. We paused the movie and check our phones.(We only had our phones but nothing else)

We checked everything. None of them had an incoming call, a missed message, or any sign of activity. We even went through the app histories, checked notifications, and verified that Messenger wasn’t even open on any of the devices.

We thought that the sound could have come from our neighbour’s apartment, but it was unlikely because the sound was so clear and especially coming out from beside the sofa and the apartment had a very thick wall. We could barely listen any sound from there.

We even moved furniture and checked behind the cushions, thinking maybe we had missed something, like a speaker or something. But there was nothing.

After about 10 seconds, the sound stopped, just like a regular missed call . It didn’t show up in any of the message logs, and we didn’t hear it again. We were left feeling unsettled. The experience didn’t make sense, and we couldn’t come up with a logical explanation.

Has anyone else experienced something similar, is there a logical tech-related explanation, or could this be something more? Would love to hear your thoughts and theories.

Experience The Mountain story

Upvotes

This goes back about 22 years. It’s about my aunt’s ex-husband. Back then, they lived near a well-known holiday spot somewhere in the mountains of India. He used to own a small shop in the town, and their house was further up, along a steep road in the hills.

One night, pretty late — around 12:30 AM — he was heading back home from work on his scooter when the tire got punctured. Since it wasn’t too far and he knew the road well, he decided to walk the rest of the way. The path was steep, no streetlights at all, but he was used to it.

While walking, he suddenly felt the temperature drop. Everything went quiet, and he got this weird sense — like something was off. A few minutes later, he hears this soft cycle bell ringing behind him. He turns around to check — no one’s there. Nothing.

When he turns back, there’s this man walking beside him. Someone who looked familiar, but he just couldn’t place who it was. Even the voice sounded like someone he knew, but he couldn’t figure it out. They kept walking together, and this guy was acting a bit strange — speaking in a low tone, kind of gulping his words. He kept asking for a cigarette, again and again.

Now, the ex-husband used to smoke, but for some reason, he just didn’t want to give him one. Something felt off. Then suddenly, the guy puts his hand on his shoulder, like they’re walking together as close friends. It felt heavy, but he didn’t say anything.

They were almost near his house when he heard that cycle bell again. This time, he turned quickly — but again, nothing behind. And when he turned back to the front... the guy was gone.

But here’s the creepy part — even though the man had disappeared, he could still feel that heavy pressure on his shoulder, like someone’s hand was still there.

Freaked out, he ran the rest of the way home. My grandmother was waiting for him — she said he looked pale and was sweating like crazy. He just went straight to sleep without saying much.

The next morning, he got up and went to take a hot shower. But the second hot water touched his back, he yelled out — his shoulder was burning. He looked in the mirror and saw claw marks and scratches all over that shoulder. Like something had actually dug into his skin.

Now here’s where it gets interesting.

Locals believe that spirits or negative energies sometimes appear using familiar faces or voices. They try to trick you by asking for things like cigarettes or alcohol — stuff considered vices. If you give it to them, they purposely drop it and ask you to pick it up. That’s when they strike — either they try to possess you or harm you.

Another crazy detail — the place where that man vanished? Just a few steps ahead, there’s a small temple. Locals believe it’s protected by a very strong goddess. That’s probably why the spirit disappeared right there.

Even now, all these years later, he still has those faint scratch marks on his shoulder.

Debunk This Paranormal house😐😐😐

Upvotes

This is gonna be long so buckle up, basically I'm going to tell you everything in my paranormal house such keeps happening and has happened. Basically let's start from one of the most scary things so I had a friend over and I was watching Sam and Kolbe I was talking about Sally because she didn't really watch Sam and Kolbe at the time And Sally is basically this guy, the spirit, pretending to be a little girl and he attached to Sam so after I said, Sally for a second time these lights turned on, and we don't know why the lights turned on because that doesn't usually happen which was already weird enough and then the lights by the kitchen flickered and we were both freaked out. This was probably the most recent paranormal thing I've done the red book challenge a couple times you know really scary stuff because we got scary accurate answers and I have attachments which is I don't really care. OK so onto the next at night the door to my room starts to wiggle make noises. It sounds like somebody's trying to open it without turning the handle and this only happens 12 AM and later and it'll stop at five. I think it's the air but I'm not really sure about that. I see things too like let's say as I'm typing this out. I looked in the mirror like just now. I looked in the mirror and I saw a head pop out the side freaked me out a bit, but it's not enough to scare me. You know I see figures you know normal stuff there's different tensions in different rooms the other day I was recording a video and walking around. I went into my brother's room and he was at home at the time and as I stepped in I was talking about how this room isn't really scary but I see things sometimes there were really loud noises and I was home alone and I was it was something I didn't really understand but definitely scary. I'm going to start doing an investigation soon. I just have to get my hands on some equipment and I'll update later. Also I'm sorry you had to read this terribly long paragraph

ALSO IF IT SAYS SMT WRONG ITS BC I STUTTER AND IT PUTS IT IN THE PASSAGE BC I DIDNT FEEL LIKE TYPING

Debunk This Okay... what the heck?

Upvotes

SO if anybody watches sam and colby, you know about them visiting Robert the Doll. So, they censor the eyes in the video because supposedly it can give you an attachment or just a bad feeling. I got the worst one. In one point of the video, they take off the censor and warn you about the chances of an attachment. I was stupid and looked into the eyes. A week later, some weird things started happening. You should know my house and my families rooms are all clumped together, except my sisters room downstairs. I was in my room, with my door closed when this rapid knocking just randomly started. I got up and opened my door. Nothing was there. I though my brother was tricking me so i went to his room (right beside mine) and asked him to stop knocking on my door. He said he wasnt doing anything. Me and him walked into my room and closed the door, i told his thats when the knocking started. And right after i said that, more rapid knocking. My parents door is loud so you can obviously tell when the door opens and closes. Their door was closed so it couldnt have been them. Nothing else has happened in a while but I have been getting some really weird nightmares. Thanks for reading lol.

Shadow People The shadow person

Just this morning at mid night, I saw myself laying at the exact corner of the couch where I am currently sleeping, and a shadow person was pulling me back and forth. I was extremely afraid, but i feel like he was trying to wake me up for some reasons. It was a misty smoke formed like a human, he kept both his hands on my shoulders and tried pulling me back and forth. I tried to look away and hoped i would wake up as soon as possible. Anybody know what they are and what they want ?

Encounter Freaky Rottweiler in Mexico

Hello, my best friend and I just recently relocated to Mexico and just had the absolute creepiest, most unsettling encounter.

We met a stray on a walk earlier in the afternoon, around 3ish. He was soo friendly and walked over a mile with us, and stayed by our front door for a few hours. We left to get food and he followed the car until he got distracted and we lost him. He wasn’t at our door when we got back so after eating we went on a walk to look for him (already so attached lol, named him Chief/Cow).

We were walking around (7:30pm-8pm) trying to find him but no luck. We rounded a corner and started walking down a particularly dark road. We both noticed a pretty big black and brown dog, definitely looked like a rottweiler in the dark. As we got closer, we noticed it was in this really weird aggressive stance and STARING at us. We both stopped in our tracks and tried to gauge the situation. The dogs eyes were glowing back at us, but not in a normal way? They were reflecting back at us, glowing white even though there were no lights around. The creepiest part was how silent the whole thing was. It was weirdly quiet in that moment. My best friend just described it as “energy you couldn’t just walk around. It was like a weird block, you either enter it or leave it alone.”

We both stood there for what felt like ages as this dog just silently stared at us in the darkness. We both very slowly backed up and went back around the corner. The dog just kind of turned back around and stood facing the other direction, very rigid. We both felt as if the energy was following us and felt like we were being watched the whole way home, even though he was nowhere to be found. It still feels sooo weird.

We both waited to talk about it till we were safely behind our locked gate and door. But wtf was that??? Does anyone have any theories or similar experiences? It scared the living daylights out of us, but made us unsettled more than anything.

NSFW Scariest encounter

I just got back from doing a clensing at my girlfriend's house. All me to explain.

My friend's house has a piano room that connects her apartment to the main house. She and many of her family members believe it to be haunted.

The first time we hung out and had dinner at our usual fast food place, McDonald's. She asked me to come by and see if I could sense anything. When I arrived in the room I noticed a small cubby. I could feel 3 spirits in that cubby. 2 grandmothers and a small child. I also noticed a much bigger cubby but sensed nothing.

The second time, when she asked again, I putt all my attention on to that larger cubby and could sense something a bit darker than before. I had a good struggle with the spirit and it flew me againt the piano causing me to get out of the house rather quickly.

This is the most recent encounter I've had. Again I focused on the larger cubby and felt cold spots. I had the same struggle the same spirit as I did the second time. This time however it felt like my body was being controlled by the spirit itself. I fought with it for about an hour and half before once again, getting out of that room

Apparition I think I have a Watcher?

Okay. So, I have this thing I see a lot at night (specifically when I'm super stressed but regular nonetheless) I've named him Billy. I even bought an art piece that resembled him. He has never made me feel scared, never sits on my chest, never breathes violently at me, he just watches. He will poke his head in through the cat door, be in the corner, or standing near by. I feel no need to pull the covers over my head. He's just there. Even if I leave my room for water he comes with me. I've heard bits and pieces of what would be called "watchers" but I'm finding that hard to track. When I googled it, it came up with a movie that I haven't seen.. and couldn't find any solid leads on what these things could be called otherwise. Am I losing it?

Experience I think my gf was possessed or something

OK, so about 12 years ago my gf had a very traumatic experience where her S/O at the time nearly killed her. He was a horrible horrible person. It left her pretty scarred for quite a while until recently when he ended up commiting murder and was sentenced to 25 years.

Anyway; for some reason I was thinking about this night. We were asleep and she woke up and started shaking me violently. I woke up and she whispers "he's here" i of course freaked out and was like wtf!? Who!? And she replied with "the dark one" i was thinking maybe she meant her abuser and I was a bit sketched out. Or maybe his demons or whatever the heck he had going on.

She was in this weird trance/daze like state and kept saying he's over there. I tried to get her to just lay back down and sleep whatever it was off. She got up and started walking around and then replies with "I'll just want a cigarette" so we went out and she started wandering. I followed her and kept my hand tight on hers. It was a cloudy and foggy night (it was around 3am) we walked for about 45 mins. I was able to eventually lead her back into the house. And then she laid down. One of the scariest things I've ever heard was next. She stared at me, almost looking through me for a second and I sat up looking at her. I asked her what was wrong (a few times) she then looked slightly to the left at me, her eyes widened a bit and she pointed. She said "he's right behind you now. The dark one is behind you"

I'm telling you, I was terrified. My skin felt like it was crawling. The room was so silent. It was so silent that your ears could have been ringing. I had.chills as she said this. I had just sat there for awhile and then eventually said "what" and she said "he wants you" i freaked and told her she needed to sleep. She ended up laying down and eventually fell asleep.

I didn't sleep that night. It was scary!! The next day she asked me where her pack of cigarettes went. I told her that she smoked them and she had.no idea what I meant. I told her some of the things that happened but she said she only remembers a dream where she was walking with some.dark soul. I honestly had.no idea what to say. It was an odd experience. I never knew if this was paranormal, or maybe a traumatic past experience.
