The destined rivals ETB isn’t even out yet and the price is set for at £250+, why? Wtf is going on and how is this even allowed? I feel like I’m just gonna stop collecting at this point. You either have to have 30k+ to even make content on Pokemon cards, for the pokemon or distributors to send you them for content or just be well off to collect. God forbid you enjoy something on a £30k or lower a year salary. Thanks Pokemon, it’s been fun.

Finally found the new set!

My psa submission has been in “shipped to psa” since last Monday and I’ve been seeing people’s packages getting stolen and what not, so I’m just a little paranoid about my cards. Is this normal timing?

Found a fat stack of holographic Pokemon cards in a bag, sister excitedly offered me $100 for all of them which tells me they are prob worth more? Despite being in a bag thrown in a closet for who knows how long they are all in brand new condition

Where do I go to find out how much they’re worth?

Had my Umbreon ex prismatic for sale for a bit and a guy sent me a message wanting to trade PSA 10 espeon with cash but we never said deal today he writes me that he’s on the way to meet me when we never had agreed on anything I quickly went through my messages seeing if maybe I said something that included a deal being made he then writes I’m in town what’s the address so me feeling bad for the guy even though I didn’t want to trade for anything told him if he gave me 300 cash and the PSA ten card we would have a deal so I left work because he agreed long story short I check out his card he checked out mine we both went out way deal done now he’s sending me tons of cities of things he’s finding wrong with the card and wanting to trade back like uhhh Noo right or am I in the wrong here?? Appreciate you poke fam

I screamed when I pulled it. I may have wanted N . But I'll take it! Only bought 5 packs! (Each for 6 bucks tho but they have the same price for paldea evolved.)

This happens with most of my hobbies but with pokemon it’s extra bad, whenever I spend money on cards I can’t help but feel stupid, like I’m wasting it. I may enjoy them when they show up and get excited about it but idk if that’s worth it. It all just feels like I’m being fickle.

So my question is how do you either not feel guilty for buying cards or how do I leave this hobby? Cause I really struggle to just will power myself out of this.

I recently just got back into collecting and saw a listing of a card that I had when I was younger. I felt like I was pretty reasonable with my offer and was willing to pay a little more if I needed to. Now I’m not sure what the term “low pop” means, but if you’re not willing to sell your “favorite” card, then don’t list it. Also I’m pretty sure he blocked me.

I just got into pokemon card collecting and bought 8 booster boxes of Prismatic Evolutions, is this considered a good amount of hits?

I brought a Japanese box from zenmarket and everything seems perfectly fine, I got decent hits all the deck builder cards seemed right but in one of the deck builders I got 4 ex’s (which are shown on the box) but there not shiny?

Might sell raw too idk.

For the past few months I’ve been trying to get into the card game because I’ve been playing pokemon tcg pocket with my siblings. I wanted to buy my siblings and I a starter deck box or something so we could play the actual card game together but wherever I go they’re always sold out and I refuse to get them from a second hand seller because I don’t want to feed into this scalping insanity. If anyone has gone through this too or have and recommendations as to what to do id love to hear it because I’m at a loss at this point

Bought this product. Only 2 packs came in the 3 pack blister. Sylveon with 2 swirls. Worth anything more or just the value of packs and promo? Thanks
