Ignore my bobs burger chin and messed up necklaces, my baby rats are sick with upper respiratory infection. I gave them good bedding, good food, good play things to nom on, but because they're feeder rats meant to just be fed to snakes one got sick extremely fast and the other is starting to sneeze too. You can read my gofund me and donate any dollar you can I don't want to lose them too. I'll post more content of them. I lost my human baby at 15 weeks, and one of these prior rat babies from them not being treated right before I bought them, and then a person I considered my mom. Within two weeks. I don't want to lose them too.
!! TW: Rat tumor
Hello, I’ve never done this before, but I’m in desperate need for help. My big baby boy Dumbo just got diagnosed with a tumor today on his spleen. The cost of his checkup today was $440, due to them having to take an x-ray and ultrasound, and the estimated price they told us for the surgery will be around $900. Recently I got my boys neutered and the whole cost for everything was around $900, and we have another boy we’re saving up to neuter as well, so we cannot afford to get Dumbo the surgery and treatment he needs. I’m coming online to ask if anyone can help with the cost of the surgery because he means a lot to my family and I, and is still very spry and young. I’ve never had a pet rat quite as sweet and social as him, and he’s only a year old, so he still has so much life left to live with us. The tumor is growing fast, so there’s no much time before it spreads beyond the organ itself on. Thank you so much to anyone who can donate, I’ll keep you all posted. 🩷
The vet we go to is Critter Fixers in Bonaire GA, (478) 988-0883

They're 4 months old, and I don't see any difference from when they were 45 days old. The person that gave me them hasn't said anything about their dad, but their mom seemed to be bigger, as a normal size rat. Should I be worried?

I cleaned her cage (this is Mushka, affectionately known as Lil' Moo or Moo Moo). I'm putting everything back together, but she is inconsolable. I've even offered her treats and she turned her nose up at me. She always has a temper tantrum when I have to do a full cleaning and not just a partial cleaning. A lot of her ladders and hammocks are still being dryed right now and she thinks that I'm not giving them back. I just wanted to share a picture of my poor baby as she's pouting. She likes being a stinky girl but I just can't let her.

My girl Maddie about 4 days before she passed. Figured out how to open the hospital cage and did it constantly, I ended up having to use a bungee cord to keep her in
(This is not their normal cage, they have a SCN fully decked out)

One of my older rats (he's 2 yrs i months) passed away recently and the remaining one was showing signs of distress like pacing, not eating much etc. I got two younger rats yesterday (black one 11 weeks, white one 9 weeks) to keep him company and it seems like they're getting along well so far. Meet Ronan (white), Jamie (black), and Cas (brown)!

Sisters Feriss and Patina each had 14 babies within 24 hours of each other and are choosing to raise there litters together. Normally I don’t pair raise unless the does deliver close together, these sisters are thriving together and all beans are fed. These babies are so fat and happy that they are super chill and barely squeak when out.

Just came across this photo in my gallery from when I had 8 boys in 2022, I remember they all decided one day to stuff themselves in a box (apart from 3 who I can't remember what they were doing)

Thank you all for listening to my sad ramblings over the month. Sorry for never getting round to replying to anyone, I’m so mentally exhausted after this month 💔
