What’s going on?

Why does my appetite only suppress on day 1 and the rest of the week it’s as if I don’t have the shot. What’s going on??

Just wondering what is your dose and how long you’ve been on sema? Everyone’s journey is a bit different. Some do not notice much effect until the dose was titrated up a few times. Some are super responders who notice it from day one.

I feel the effects pretty well and they usually last most if not all of the week even though I’m still on a relatively small dose.

I do notice that my appetite stays lower when I follow the bariatric doctors advice to eat low fat, low carb, no sweet tasting foods, lots of veggies, lots of water, plenty of natural fibers. When i stray a bit, I sometimes have more cravings.

I guess we’ll each have a little more to learn every week.

I was on Tirz for 6 months and it usually lasted me most of the week. I guess I’m not a super responder on sema. I just started this week on the lowest dose and I felt AWFUL on day 1 (lay in bed sick) and the rest of the week it’s as if no shot at all. I’m worried if I go up I’ll just be useless all week :/

Tirz hit on two receptors whereas sema only hits on one. Since you’re just at the initial dose, I’d give it some time. It took me til I got to 1mg before I really saw consistency.

I’ve been on for 4 months didn’t see effects til I got ti 1. Started at .25 in January feb .50 march 1 and will stay here this month also
