im surprised theres never been a "cola50%" by coke or pepsi or any soda company.
i love cola. any brand, coke, pepsi, rc, sams, faygo, etc. they all taste the same to me but i try going with lower sugar brand of faygo. but i dont know why a company like coke or pepsi or some other brand has never had a cola soda that was about 50% the sugar compared to their original.
sams soda has 43g, rc cola has 43g, pepsi has 41g, coke has 39g, and faygo has 35g of sugar. i cannot tell the difference between these sodas. so it got me thinking if 8g less of sugar doesnt hurt the taste then what if another 8g went away and there was a 27g of sugar cola (almost half of sams soda).
i hate aspartame and stevia in diets and lower sugar sodas. but i think a cola with about half the sugar as the original called cola50% would be a huge hit and success. even 25% less and it being a cola75% or cola-25% would probably work the same.
Edit: So I wonder how much it could be reduced and still enjoy it without needed to substitute another sweetener into it. I’m thinking about 30g would be the happy medium. Lots of products lately have reduced sugar and there’s not much of a difference so maybe just taking out a few grams could still be good.

Found these in the Goodwill bins of all places
Couldn’t find a year right away. Any guesses as to a time frame?

7up Cherry is better than 7up Tropical.
I was really looking forward to Tropical. But the peach flavor really takes the stage on that flavor. It's not tropical, it's peach. And 7up Cherry is better than 7up "Tropical".

Kosher Coca Cola
No pic, sorry. I tried the Passover friendly Coke with the yellow cap. The ingredient list is almost exactly the same as Mexican Coke. I can't tell the difference in taste. If only Coke would use this formula year round. It's delicious!

Gingers Unite!
Okay as far as beverages anyway... I've always liked ginger ale and most Ginger beer, but lately I've been on a ginger ale kick. At work I was given these Ginger beers and I enjoy it. Ginger beer is generally a lot spicier, but he got me curious. For those that like ginger beverages, do you prefer ale? Or beer? And why?

MOLE COLA
First time trying this wonderful cola from Turin Italy. Made with real sugar, cola nut extract 👀. I could drink these all day but all I have is the one. Highly recommend if you see one of these in the wild.

How long do soda cans last?
Thinking about cans of soda for my wedding in October. How long do unopened cans kept at room temp last? Could I start buying soon and they still be good in 6 months for my wedding? Or should I wait a little bit?

Sioux City Birch
Nice standard birch beer, thick and sweet and very wintergreeny, with some vanilla flavor too. But truth be told, by now all the birch beers taste pretty much the same to me. Need to try Boylans again.
