My collection The downside of upping size, a ton of now useless jewelry.
When I was 20 (now 40, oof) I decided I wanted to start my stretching journey and my goal had always been an inch. I did my initial piercings at a 2 gauge (yes very painful), and all my subsequent stretching with a reputable professional piercer. We took our time and luckily about a year and half later I had beautiful fat healthy lobes still at 7/8. Unfortunately my piercer moved and I just lost steam because I trusted him only. Well after 18 years loving my lobes, but with the inch gold haunting me I decided it was time. I knew my lobes were very loose and 15/16 would feel like a hotdog in a hallway so I got some one inch single flairs and they went in with very little to no resistance, only slight tightness and within a few days it was like nothing happened. So happy I finally hit that 1 inch goal after all these years, but the downside is now I have to build up my jewelry collection again and all the 7/8 jewelry Ive amassed is useless. What do I do with such a big collection? Sell them? Give them away? Would people even want second hand jewelry, is it gross? Opinions please lol
