Other Testosterone levels and handling stress

Does anyone find that having normal testosterone levels (normal as in not having low T symptoms) they are more resistant or less physically impacted by stress?

When I mean stress, I mean things or issues that are mentally or physically demanding. Like having to work longer hours, getting less sleep, dealing with issues at work, marriage issues etc .

Do you find that these above don't really bother you, as much, mentally and physically they don't effect you, like they did when you had lower T?

TRT help Puffy/Fat face changes?

Week 5 and my face looks awful. Started out with a young "boyish" look. Clean skin, a little acne nothing serious. Since starting on 300mg/week my face genuinely looks disgusting. Its become puffy and round, greasy too. If the light hits me in the perfect way I legit look like some kind of monster. Since I'm relatively small too it also makes my head look massive and my build that much smaller.

TRT help Pregnenolone -> Sensitive Nipples?

Upvotes

I’ve been stable with good labs on 120mg cyp and 1000hcg but libido is lagging so i tried adding just 50mg pregnenolone daily. I only got three days before noticing slightly plump nipples that are very sensitive. Does this make sense or was it a coincidence. I can’t get more labs until after deployment but i wonder if theres even a mechanism because searching brings no direct link between pregnenolone and prolactin.

TRT help Getting injections but a different doc also prescribed gel

So I inject 120 per week right now.

A doctor I consulted with for something else, who does not work with hormones ("I'm not a testosterone doctor")... got the following approved by my insurance: Testosterone 25MG/2.5 GM PKT. He was not into prescribing injectables, and felt the gel was safer. I'm pretty sold on the injection I already have, as I have low T (200).

Is there any use for this since I already get an injection every week or should I shelve it for if I didn't have money or some other scenario?

TRT story Took 1mg arimidex !!

Upvotes

My e2 was sitting at 433 pmol or 117 pg. was losing my mind Jesus! I take 150mg split twice weekly. Not sure what protocol of arimidex I should go to now? Just needed a big dose to kick things off because I was literally losing my mind - extremely high e2 is brutal

Scientific Studies Stay natural or not. Good resource that helped me.

This cleared a lot up for me when deciding if TRT was needed or not. He's very knowledgeable on what actually moves the needle with natural levels and when you, perhaps turn to the needle for lack of a better phrase.

Blood work Hcg mono therapy blood tests?

28yr old male with diet, exercise, supplementation and sleep all pretty dialed in. Still around 320 total test. Tried a UK TRT clinic last year, but because my levels are still in the reference range(all be it right at the bottom end) they wouldn't help. So after a few months of research, I've decided to try HCG at 500iu x 3 weekly(Mond, Wed, Fri) to see if this helps, I started 2 days ago.

The only thing I can't find online is when you should get your first blood test done after starting this protocol? As I want to see if I need to change the dose while also keeping an eye on my E2.

What would people recommend? TIA

TRT help Insurance needs a 2nd test, but I already started?

Hi all, I (45M) need some advice. I tested low a few weeks ago (180s) and was prescribed testosterone gel. I figured insurance would take a bit to approve so I paid out of pocket for the first months supply. I've been doing two pumps a day for about 10 days now. Anyway, in order for insurance to cover it, I need two l tests. Would my levels have risen enough in just 10 days with this dose? Do I need to skip some days to lower levels? I'd love whatever advice you can offer. Thanks!

TRT help I feel like a crash a few days before injection. Anyone else?

Then it takes about 2-3 days to get back to feeling good again. Injecting every two weeks and doc said I should cut the amount in half and inject every week. I am not sure that will be any better since I am on such a low dosage (200 MG).

How do you guys in the states get bloodwork done without it having to be a full blown medical ordeal? My doc wants me to jump through all the bullshit hoops. It feels like it should be so much easier. I can’t stand our healthcare system.

PED/cycle help Ugl gear issue or CNS sensitivity

About 10 years ago I did my first cycle, the standard 500mg from a UGL source I don't remember. Everything went amazing. Only issue was itchy nipples for a couple days. The gains and godlike feeling were unforgettable.

Fast forward to 2022, I want to do it again. I order gear from a different but reputable sources. My experience was completely different. I had to stop mid cycle because I linearly got way over stimulated, Eventually getting a panic attack that I ended up hospitalizing myself over.

I didn't think it was the gear.

Fast forward again to a month ago, I had an unexpired, unopened, vial from that batch from 2022 and tried again, only 150mg a week.

3 weeks in and I had to stop. Same issue. The CNS stimulation was absolutely nuts and drove me into a panic again, only this time I toucged it out. I got blood work and everything seems fine.

Only biomarkers that were flagged were hemoglobin at 17.7 and hematocrit at 52. I did test positive for marijuana, which was interesting because I haven't touched it in over a year and I've never been a habitual user.

Still waiting on the hormone panel but I cant help but think the gear is tainted?

Or has my body become very sensitive to CNS stimulants?

Blood work 34M, had a testosterone blood draw done, came back 269 ng/dl.

Doctor says it's the low end of normal. She requested I go back in a few weeks for another blood draw early in the morning (because according to her, it could be because testosterone levels are low later in the day, when I got my blood draw). If it's low again the doctor is going to look into TRT options for me.

For reference - I self-referred because I'm showing symptoms of low T, and it turns out it is low (though it's in the range of "normal", I guess). Symptoms are anxiety, depression, loss of muscle despite doing high intensity exercise training 3 times a week, weight gain, loss of motivation, and hair loss at my crown.

I finally got a doc to give me a low T test after trying to find an answer to these problems for almost 10 years. They all refer me to a therapist/psychiatrist who try to give me antidepressants that don't work - or talk me out of these physical symptoms - even though they both make the problems worse. That's why, despite having low T, I'm kind of hopeful right now that I might have found the problem.

If this next blood test comes back and I still have low T levels, what can I expect? What is your experience with treatment, and did it help with any of the symptoms I mentioned?

Other Has anyone tried the TRT+ app?

I'm wondering if anyone has tried this app out? It looks pretty AI based but I also don't care about that. I just want an easy app to track shots, day, time, amount, injection site etc. And I don't want to use notes, sheets or anything like that. The extra features here dont look half bad.

I know someone that has one in the works but it's a few months out so figured I'd give this a shot but it has no reviews, it is receiving updates as lately as last week but it's review and download data got reset at some point. Anyways here is a tid bit about the app.

Also I know its like $13 but I really don't care about that. That's a couple of beers at a bar.

Heres the description :-

• My Protocol - tracks your protocol and estimated variance in testosterone levels, using advanced pharmacokinetic models.

• Injection Reminders - provides discreet notifications on days you are due for testosterone, including the next injection site as per your rotation schedule.

• Rotation Planner - plans your injection site rotation alongside your protocol to ensure even rotation between sites.

• Biomarker Score - a TRT trained AI model that's been fine tuned in modern TRT best practices analyses your bloodwork using 'enhanced' reference ranges to provide an overall health score and personalised recommendations.

• The Testimator - interprets your individual response to testosterone, helping you dial-in to an optimal range of testosterone levels in your bloodwork.

• Muscle Building Potential - assesses your potential for gaining muscle based on key hormonal markers.

• Responder Type - assesses your protocol and testosterone levels to determine if you are a normal, low, hyper, super or non-responder.

• T:E Ratio - determines whether your testosterone-to-estradiol ratio is balanced, androgenic, or estrogenic.

• T:SHBG Ratio - assesses if your testosterone levels are optimized, too high, or too low in relation to SHBG.

• AI analysis and comprehensive report for all key blood markers related to TRT.

• Calculate your growth hormone production in iu per day, estimated from IGF-1 levels.

• Convert between international units for Testosterone, Estradiol, Free T, HDL, HbA1c and IGF-1.

• Level up your knowledge with an extensive built in e-book including information on testosterone esters and metabolism, explanation of key blood markers, free t, peak to trough fluctuation, injection best practices and much more.

• Support for all international testosterone measurement units including ng/dL, nmol/L, pg/mL and pmol/L.

• Info screens throughout the app to explain what to enter where, and outline the methodology, cited studies, pharmacokinetic equations, and calculations used.

• One tap to share your protocol or bloodwork to friends, socials, email, etc.

• Saves your protocol and latest bloodwork, so it is always available in the app.

TRT help Burning sensation on penis? NSFW

Hi everyone,

I added the NSFW just in case, but really it's pretty mild. Just a genuine question about genitals.

So I started TRT on Saturday, just one injection so far (200mg testosterone cypionate). No major noticeable changes yet, but I woke up last night (Monday) with an erection and a burning pain on the outside of my penis and a little bit on the scrotum. I'm doubtful it's an STI since it's on the outside and not associated with urination or discharge.

I looked this up, but didn't find anything useful so I'm reaching out here.

Thanks for any insight. I appreciate your willingness to share!
