Did he possibly have a known enemy that planned this that maybe his family or friends didn't know about.
If not, it's sad to think it was a random crime of opportunity by someone.

At the end of the article above-
Tyler’s family had been seemingly followed by tragedy for years, and it wouldn’t stop with his disappearance. It’s been over six years since Tyler was last seen, and his case is filled with theories, with some wondering if his family’s checkered past could have contributed not only to what happened not only that day, but also to the events that followed

Although Stice doesn't enjoy hiking or hunting, authorities learned he purchased a rifle before his disappearance. It's unclear whether this has anything to do with this case. His cellular phone, keys, wallet and computer disappeared with him and have not been found, but his camera has been located.

These weird cases get to me. The not knowing is torture. Finding just the Camera is weird. Was there anything important on it?

I don't know. I will try and see if they shared any information on the camera.
I lost my youngest son at 26 to suicide. The not knowing if your son is alive or deceased and where is even worse imho.
EDIT a little more info. This write up mentions his camera was located in the trunk of his mustang.

Just finished a podcast on this case. Sadly, if I had to guess it was a suicide. Due to the fact he acted out of character the days before his disappearance. He called off work to hang with his family, bought a rifle even though he wasn’t into guns. Then when he was suppose to show up for work the next day he didn’t. The family said all of these actions were so out of character for him. Such a sad case. Hope one day there will be resolution as to what happened.

I feel so bad for family members who have a missing loved one. That's one of my biggest fears which is to not know what occurred.
