General Question/Discussion Do some of y’all have genetic ADHD?

Literally my mom, my sister, my niece, my nephew, and I all have ADHD as well as me and my mom having autism.

Edit: I’m more so talking about ADHD being a dominant trait (at least for my family)

100%. My brother was textbook ADHD little boy, currently undiagnosed but with many other diagnosed mental illnesses. My mom is definitely inattentive-type, with a big helping of PTSD on the side, also undiagnosed. Pretty sure my dad has it as well, and OCD with possibly a touch of the tism(undiagnosed).

My younger sister was diagnosed severe combined type ADHD in college, which eventually led me to explore (and receive) a diagnosis at 33. I’m fairly certain I’m on the spectrum as well, but haven’t explored testing.
