Everyone is saying with a sight that relays on battery I need back up irons sights. But I have no idea where to put them. I tried canted sights but the Mawl is blocking it. Regular irons are too low to co-witness with the EO tech. Any suggestions?

The all tan build was cool but I’ve been told that this won’t help in any real scenario where camouflage would be useful.

This is a setup used by Delta around 2003-2005 featuring the Knights MRE handguard and Schmidt and Bender Short Dot. While there were a variety of lpvo adjacent scopes around, the short dot is what really put the concept on the map. It is heavy, but at the time the capability leap above the ACOG and to a lesser degree Leupold CQ/T made the short dot an early GWOT icon.

Thinking of throwing some Rapco paint on this. Debating whether I should do forest green or field drab brown, what y’all think?

I see this argument for things like better stocks, better branded parts ie bolts, bcg, optics good lord people love their cheap optics, triggers (esp G$ lol) why would you want to run something sup par? If you’re saving so much for ammo why would you not want to run a f ton of ammo through a well built machine? Or just do both shoot plenty of ammo through a gun you spent plenty of money on.

Adding Kung Fu grip, SBA5, Radian raptor, and perhaps an arisaka handstop. Dunno yet.
