I’m looking very specific requirements and haven’t been able to find the perfect one yet.
Criteria
Small like 15 liters Able to fit 14 inch laptop Separate laptop compartment (so not just a sleeve with the other stuff) Lightweight Under 1.6 lbs Water resistant material Aquaguard zippers External bottle pockets both sides Hidden zipper pockets Would like lot of organizational pockets in it Black Attachment loops to hang stuff No budget
I would use this as my daily carry for work, and traveling. I seen aer backpacks but they are too big and the small ones don’t have separate laptop sleeves. I like the look of Tumi but they are too big and heavy. Also really like able carry 13 has the secret pockets but missing external bottle both sides and separate laptop space.

Hey, so my backpack just broke and I am therefore looking for a new one. Since there are so many options, I thought I'd ask someone more educated in that area. So to some up what I am looking for:
I'll be thankful for any recommendations.

Hey all -
So I've been researching the sea of options for out there for a EDC + Travel/Beach Day bag and I'm at a bit of an impasse in that I'm not sure what's the best option.
Use Cases: I work from home most of the time, but I do like to wander around and work at different coffeeshops and things for a change of scenery, so the EDC. I do travel every other month or so for work, I'll do 3-4 day trips. I always take a roller bag with me, but would like to explore taking a single backpack with me if I can (but that isn't a hard requirement). I generally take a few days of clothes, gym clothes/shoes, Steam Deck/Switch, Computer, ipad, kobo etc. So I'd like a bag for those trips that can comfortable handle all of that.
I also do a lot of weekend trips/car camping trips for a few days that I'd like to be able to use a single bag there. When going on vacation, I'd like something to augment the travel to vacation, then easily EDC for the vacation days.
Beach Days - I live close to the beach, and go there at least weekly, weather permitting. I can either bike there (about 10m ride, one way) or take the car, but we'll have the beach basics - a towel, helinox beach chair, water/snacks, book-- etc. I'd like all to fit comfortably in the pack and be comfortable for a short bike ride.
So generally, I'm looking for:
Options I've been looking at (in rough preference order as of this minute):
Honorable Mentions:
Any insight / suggestions / alternatives you all have would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!

https://texas.gs.shi.com/product/28966853/Dell-Tek-Notebook-carrying-backpack
I have had this Dell Tek backpack for probably 10 years. It's just now starting to rip and show it's age. I'm an AV / IT tech so I carry a LOT of cables, adapters, and gadgets around, but I just use a couple packing cubes.. I hate the idea of digging through a bag to find one thing.
I really just need a slimmer pocket for my ultrabook laptop (15" HP Spectre x360 which stows in it's leather sleeve) and tablet, one main area for my packing cubes, two that I stack sideways on top of each other, and then a front pocket for quick access to things like laptop charger, etc.
The things I don't like about the Tek: - Side pockets zip which I like, but not having a real water bottle pocket is sometimes missed. - No sternum strap.
The things I love about the Tek: - It's very lightweight and pretty compact. Like, with nothing in it, it weighs almost nothing. - Simple. Few pockets. - I like the material, whatever it is... Nylon? - The luggage handle slot is life changing. - It's cheap, and there's still a few out there that I could buy again new.
Any thoughts would be great! Since there aren't many specs on this, I don't even know what size backpack this is considered.

Hopped over a stream and one of the teeth snapped off the hib belt clip, rendering it useless.
Does anyone know if its possible to buy a replacement clip? I'm based in the UK. I cant seem to find anything online.
Any help greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone,
Does anyone have experience with the RugSak brand? The website is entirely on German-Only which makes me worry.
I'm looking for a backpack to hike with that fits airplanes requirements if needed, under 100€.
The RugSak Explorer seems awesome and is atm at 80€.
Cheers,

Me and my girlfriend are looking for a new backpack that we can use on a daily bases and for traveling aswell. We really like the DB Hugger 25L or 30L backpack because of looks, how we can fully open it up like a luggage suitcase and the little compartment at the top. (https://eu.dbjourney.com/products/hugger-backpack-25l-black-out). The pricetag is a little too much for use right now even though we can get for 50% off. So we are willing to pay ~100€ for the backpack, even better if its cheaper.

No affiliation, just excited about the integrated leash attachments and accessible front pouches -- especially after learning that MuttRuk uses the same manufacturing partner as Osprey: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/muttruk/hilander-30-backpack-by-muttruk
