Mobile Web Commenting on Androids Chrome browser, achievements and unlocks issue.

Upvotes

I've been commenting on reddit posts on Androids Chrome browser, constantly for around 20 days+, recently unlocked 20 days badge but still streak of 20 days isn't reached?

I don't understand if this is a bug or a glitch, but whenever I commented ; I was shown a progress with one increase, in the end it reached to 20 and it was unlocked, on the next day, I did do another comment but it showed 18 days and progress wasn't the same

When browsing home screen, after clicking on a certain post to check the picture or read comments, when I press the back button it reloads the whole home screen and shows me some absolutely new posts. I tried to reinstall the app but it didn't fix the problem.

Desktop Web Unable to load Images/profile icon on Reddit Chrome/Desktop app

Hi Team,

I have been trying to access Reddit via browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, etc.) and the desktop app, but the feed fails to load images, profile icons, or videos—they appear as broken placeholders.

Troubleshooting steps taken so far:

  • Cleared cache and cookies
  • Reinstalled the app
  • Switched Wi-Fi networks
  • Rebooted the system

However, the issue persists. Notably, the mobile app works fine. Could you please assist with a resolution?

Thank you for your support.

iOS iOS: reddit shortcut links don't work

For instance, from r/westworld "See more" (on mobile, it's the right sidebar on desktop) you get a list of seasons and episode links. The ones for season 3 don't work on iOS, though they do work on desktop. The difference seems to be that long-form links, like those for season 4 work whereas shorter ones like "https://redd.it/fj1tab" don't get resolved by the mobile app. This occurs on multiple iOS devices and versions.

Android 2025.13 Android not showing post edits

A user made a post in a community, quickly edited it after making the post, and the original version is still displayed in the Android Reddit app an hour later.

The same is true for a subsequent comment I made and then edited on the same thread.

The edits are visible on web, but the Android app displays the original text.

See my comment history in r/tax from tonight for the conversation.

Desktop Web I have a bug on my account that I'd like addressed. Desktop web

Description: Bug in the circular "messaging window." (2 figures to the right of the envelope icon, in upper right of screen, on old reddit) Device model: N/A OS version: N/A Steps to reproduce: It's there Expected and actual result: N/A Screenshot(s) or a screen recording N/A

I have a orange highlighted "1" on the circular PM icon (the one that is 1 icon to the right of the bell and 2 to the right of the envelope icon on old reddit). As if someone has tried to PM me. But I can't find the PM when I click on it, and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Please help.

This is not related to the small subreddit that I mod; it's just for my personal account.

iOS The new icon on iOS is hideous

I get having new icons but I think this one actually hurts the brand. I looked in settings and the standard icon, the one that is simply the Reddit brand alone is locked, requiring a premium account. That seems wrong. The impression it leaves is that the new icon was chosen intentionally to try and drive people to pay just to be able to get a decent looking icon. That’s not how you make a profit. Make a great product.

The Reddit iOS app leaves a lot to be desired. Apollo was much better. You guys really should have bought it if you were no longer going to make the API viable financially. I don’t mind seeing the ads so I don’t know why you didn’t simply put them on the API feed and require them to be displayed if the user doesn’t have a paid account.

Regardless, please focus more energy on improving the user experience of this app. It’s the face of Reddit for so many people so it should be very high quality. Thanks for listening.
