My 6m old baby just got spayed. Bought a onesie but unfortunately she got it off after arriving home from the vets in the first 20 minutes so had to resort to the cone. Luckily she’s eating,drinking and using the litter box fine

My new kitten and my 10 year old dog I’ve had my whole life get along, what I had expected was him to be somewhat curios and her to not want anything to do with him but he’s rather lazy so I wasn’t concerned, after about a week or so of her only being willing to go up to him if he wasn’t moving she has now started cuddling with him, and when they walk by each other she reaches her face up as high as possible and rubs it on his face and if he is laying down by me or my girlfriend she now has no problem walking on top of him to get to is it’s adorable

so i finally discovered a wet food my cat likes after being concerned she only likes dry food and wondering about her hydration, but its tuna and im curious if theres anything i should worry about like mercury and stuff.

Sorry for the sad cat post but idk what’s wrong my baby Sansa. She isn’t keeping any food down. I just took her to the vet yesterday for X-rays and blood work and they didn’t really have an explanation. It showed her blood glucose a little off and contributed it to stress and her liver enzymes were off a little as well. I was told to start giving her a liver supplement and walked away with a $1600 bill. They gave her some meds including one that kept her from vomiting and sure enough, after 24 hrs the vomiting returned and I have no answers! She’s also been sneezing but I’m told it’s unlikely the sneezing and vomiting are related. I thought maybe it could be food allergies so I got a script for hydrolyzed protein diet and just cleaned that off my floor after she kept it down for about 12 hrs. This is about the third day of not keeping anything down and about two weeks ago she started whatever this is with smaller episodes. Anyone have a similar experience?

I was recently reading about taurine playing a role in ocular health, and was wondering if anyone here has given it to their furry friends? I have taurine I use for workout purposes, but I don’t know if this would be safe for cats and what dose to give them. If anyone has any info on how they get more taurine into their cat’s diet, it would be greatly appreciated.
