Do you think there are lions in England, Czech Republic, or Belgium? Yet all of them have lions in their coat of arms, symbols etc. This is exact logic they made Stormwind a lion =)

Problem is, the people of Stormwind have never been to the deserts of Kalimdor until Warcraft 3. They didn't even know they existed.

Weren't there lions with names in twilight highlands? I know we got to see them in cata but I'm sure the kingdoms had access to the areas before us?
