Tbf I think the Tauren stomp is more useful than the orc racials just because I prefer a stun.

The joke was more 'why pick an axe guy and no axe'

Better: The axe does more damage. Axe spec also gives you 5% crit which at that level is way better than the two attacks from sword spec.

Because he's choosing looks over function.

You can definitely choose to do this if you want, but it's going to cause some head scratches from others because it is objectively worse at its function: Killing shit

I disagree that it looks better, but you can't expect certain people to not think it's a poor decision to prioritize looks for an item that is best in slot at level 30.

It's not even about min maxing it's just a really weird take to opt for a different weapon than the best one available on the basis of looks alone.

That's exactly why they aren't. Because you're stuck using whatever the bis slots are look like.

Appearance only matters when it's decoupled from performance, when it's coupled to performance, it's irrelevant.
