5 man - Premade group, in this case with the specific intent to disrupt the enemy team rather then go win the game
zerg - big group of people pushing to end the game
lts - Lieutenants, one of the things in Alterac Valley that gives bonus honor when killed/captured, most groups split up to pull all of the lieutenants and commanders for quick and easy honor
Basically, groups of 5 specifically don't complete objectives but farm honor kills for honor. They pray on people actually pushing objectives. If everyone stopped to farm honor kills, the game wouldn't end and honor would diminish on every kill until it was 0.
The AV trinket recalls you to your respective home base. Meaning when he gets stopped from pushing, he turns around and slows the game down for everyone.
I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, but if your 5 man party of friends who queued together follows the big group of players (this is the most common way people play AV at the moment) and starts killing stragglers from the back (often healers and other support classes) and defend commanders and lieutenants (which give 200 honor each for being killed) just to farm a bit extra honor, I'm using the item that lets me teleport back to our base and will cause a wipe against their big group of players trying to win the game quickly. This most likely causes the battleground to be unable to be finished by either side in a reasonable amount of time.
Alterac Valley (AV) is a battleground (BG) where horde and alliance fight each other and race to kill a boss at opposite ends of a valley.
(Horde side) In an attempt to speedrun the honor gains we have figured out running to a lady called Balinda and killing her + the lieutenants that are near her tower, then running to the north end of the map destroying the two towers there and capturing the graveyards for respawns before killing the boss while kiting his adds. is the fastest way to win.
You can if fast enough get anywhere from 8-12minute games this way and average about 3k honor. However if horde decides to kill all the slow mounts or alliance decides to stop us from killing Balinda and LTs it massively slows down the game and is in general considered a noob/troll move to do. (Unless you are ally trying to win in which case booooo we can win faster and you know it just let us zug)

Horde if you kill the slow mounts you’re gonna force a turtle because they have to spawn at the north of the map. You are literally shooting yourself in the foot and if you do this and then complain you’re causing your own pain and suffering. You will get more 1 mark games than 3 and I hope you stub your pinky toe tonight.
Doesnt actually matter. As alliance i want horde to win because it happens 2 minutes faster. Farming kills mid but not grief horde enough to the point they can't rush is BiS honour.
