Right, because nothing whatsoever has changed about American beer since the 70's so that joke is still 100% timely!

Monty Python was spot on...in the 70's. Just there are a gazillion kinds of American IPA etc. now so the joke is just a tad bit dated now.

That kind of beer doesn't get exported. Coors is still piss.

Plenty of it is exported if you know where to look, I can find it easily here in Korea.

Coors, like Miller and Budweiser, is not even American owned anymore. The biggest American-owned breweries are now Sam Adams and Yuengling, both of which are fine.

Okay sure, you know where to look and what to look for. That is not the case for most people. Reputations exist for a reason, and even at the craft tier of brewing, I'd stake the best of Canadian craft beers against America's best any day.

I'm still annoyed at the false advertising of Keith's "IPA" and the horrors of the Ontario beer store. Quebec was lovely though.
