PORT ADVENTURES Transport

I was just able to snag a cabana on serenity beach for my cruise in less than a month. My mom has severe mobility issues (is actually having her hip replaced a month after we return) I know she can get transportation from the ship to the main part of the island, but can she get some sort of transportation to our cabana? I feel like for the $963 price tag there should be transportation included but who knows.

I didn’t realize how far from the main point on the island to the cabanas would be. I’ve considered renting her a scooter but it was pretty awful experience on our last cruise!

Thanks

We have always been brought to our cabana in a golf cart, and no one in our party has mobility issues.

Thank you! This is my first Disney cruise and first cabana rental so i really wasn’t sure what to expect!

I can’t speak about the island - I’ve never been- but Disney does an amazing job at guest accommodation. Even in the theater they offer my Mom (who uses a cane just for assistance) back row seating and assistance.

Yeah I know Disney does a good job! We’ve been multiple times in the past five years and she always has a scooter. Our last cruise we did with the scooter was Norwegian and we weren’t impressed nor did it even fit in the room very well. Unfortunately it was a legit last minute add on as she fell and broke her kneecap the night before the cruise
