I'm in search of some new artists/music to add to my playlists. I absolutely love the funk style of dubstep and have been listening to it even more now that Griz is back. I've been listening to Griz (obviously), Manic Focus, Marvel Years, The Floozies, OPIUO, Late Night Radio, Big Gigantic and Beat Fatigue to name a few artists that give me those funky vibes. I'm looking to see if anyone has any recommendations on new/smaller artists I should listen to or if you have any favorites of your own. TIA!

Looking for artists with a cool wubby sound that are similar to hamdi/taiki nulight/twopercent/nikita the wicked on the harder side and of the trees/eazybaked/chmura or even like phrva or dennett type shit. I know this is super vague but I just want nice wubs of varying intensity that doesnāt really cross into brostep or riddim territory and should be relatively chill or also energetic and bass face vibes. Hopefully this post makes any sense

So back in the early double 00's, me and a friend were listening to dubstep mixes on youtube while playing an fps(gets the blood pumping). We both have a clear memory (admittedly while under the influence) of a soundbite from "I, Robot" where will smith's character yells "its the God damn robots john!" right before the drop.... WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS SONG EVER SINCE! With increasing levels of frustration. Does ANYONE know this song?!
Tldr: can't find dubstep song where will Smith says "it's the God damn robots john"

Spent the past week rewatching all the videos I took at the Ultra 2025 set. Got some heavy scheming to do to see him at Red Rocks š

I just love the sound of the first 12 seconds from the track āBABY ROYALā by Skrillex. I remember this kind of vibe from my teenage years and I think I used to know more songs that resembled the above mentioned intro. Do you guys know any artists or specific songs that sound like that?

Hey everyone! I came across this new artist called Catching Lightning and thought folks here might dig it. The sound is rooted in melodic dubstep but blends in some interesting influencesāthink heavy metal, classic rock, house, and even a bit of hip-hop. It gives the tracks a nice edge while keeping that emotional, melodic core.
They just dropped an EP called āLife in Colorā that shows off this style. If youāre into melodic dubstep and arenāt afraid to experiment, give it a shot.
Would love to hear what you all think!

i'm sure it was used in adverts or game adverts at some point, a voice would repeat "this is now this is now" trying to remember best I can, it was by two artists.

I cannot remember the name of the artist and it seems the track has been scrubbed from the internet, but Iām wondering if anyone ever has heard of this track.
Iām hoping to find the artists name and try to track it down. It came out probably in the late 2000s or maybe 2010. If Iām remembering correcting, it was around 20 minutes long.
