I have always hated when people get real ignorant and say things like, “Delete me if you voted for Trump”, “Lose my number if you’re celebrating overturning Roe vs. Wade”, “Don’t ever talk to me and my son again if…insert whatever topic divides us here.”

How can we reach people if we aren’t talking to them? How will they see what we post if we don’t keep them as friends? How will they know what we know if we don’t tell them?

Steiny has no plausible deniability now. Ethan has told him point blank that Tate beat up a child on camera and the victim came forward to press charges. Steiny can no longer say he doesn’t know about that because Ethan told him live, in front of thousands.

Let’s say Ethan decided to act like these yahoos saying don’t have Steiny on because he believes differently politically and morally. Then what? Steiny can continue on playing this game of showing Tate off, never having to publicly acknowledge there is video proof of Tate’s crimes. Steiny can’t do that now, because Ethan is willing to talk to Steiny. He has built a relationship with him. I swear ya’ll act like you never had a jacked up friend you had a soft spot for…or a weird family member, for that matter.

Seriously though, having this attitude of only keeping people around who are exactly like you is not fruitful to growth in our country. You cannot educate people you don’t interact with. It is simply impossible to change the minds of people you have no rapport with. Yes, it is annoying to see your aunt pop off on some foolery. That is your time to shine baby!! Counteract their foolery with education. Post the number of maternal deaths since 2022 due to women not being able to access proper care. Reference the Stock Market’s daily dives. There are any number of ways to educate people in this day and age.

Epilogue: Yes, it is your right not to be around anyone, ever. Correct, It is not your job to educate anyone, ever. I would ask you to take a look around and ask yourself, “Who is doing the educating if not me?” As a society, over the last 10-15 years, we have gotten more into an attitude of it’s not my job to “insert here”. Where has that gotten us?

So I’m rewatching some of the old shows and I gotta admit that I miss the pre recorded shows. I understand why they do live shows and I know they most likely would never go back to the pre recorded. I think the pre recorded shows just have a certain flow to them that just make the show go by much smoother. I wonder if they ever think about going back to the pre recorded shows, or even how they used to just do two pre recorded and one live show on Fridays. Idk just an opinion ig

Senator Murphy recently said the democrats are far too judgemental. You cannot just exclude all the ‘bad’ people into groups and then wonder why they are all getting so radical! It’s a fact of living in political social groups that you have widespread radical variety of beliefs.

The criticism I’ve seen is that people think the goal is to debate Steiny into disliking Tate or “save” him. You all know yourselves a 1on1 discussion never changes anyone’s mind in the moment. It’s about keeping discussions going, open, and slow progress. Steiny (+viewers) would never have come across some of the arguments/clips on their own. how the FUCK is it supposed to be helpful to this problem of misogyny to just tell them all ‘you’re bad fuck off go stay with Tate’.

Say you live in a group where all you ever hear is ‘the election was stolen’ ‘we live in the matrix’ ‘women are gold-diggers’. If your only interaction with anyone normal consists in “you’re evil” condemnation… well obviously it’s going to be much harder to even care about what they actually think, let alone understand it enough to change their mind.

To be clear, I am not saying this would be true if he had, say, Tate on. But Steiny? That’s too far? So many men think like him. we come across that attitude in everyday life we can’t just close our eyes and pretend it doesn’t exist.

I vote to keep having him on, BUT every time he comes on you have a segment called "the latest shit the tates are up to" where you bring up some gross shit the tates have been doing and make Steiny acknowledge it on stream. Make a joke of it and eventually he will naturally distance himself from him.

Steiny clearly doesn't actually agree with Tate's beliefs and he needs to be shown this!

Do it for the kids man! Normalize shitting on Tate and other sexist assholes so that they are no longer cool in the eyes of children. Instead of just shutting them out and pretending like they don't exist and it's not a growing problem. It is! It can't be ignored!
