They really are hey, an authoritarian political system that has improved the lives of over one billion people. Yet our 'democracy' slides backwards in every way.

Let's not act like they aren't doing horrible shit.

What they're doing to Muslims in their own country(which is a genocide, they are also using them for human experimentation), what happened to Hong Kong, the constant amount of issues they cause in the South China Sea because they claim every island, their constant threats to Taiwan, Tibet. It's a really long list and that's just the basic things I can think of off the top of my head. If you do a deep dive you'll discover that while they do some good in the world, they do so much worse.

I love it that on the internet, people still claim Muslims are being mistreated in China. There are so many sources available online now that tells you otherwise. Ever wondered why not 1 single Muslim country is speaking out against China on this? Because this is a Western propaganda.

It used to be ‘oh Muslims are all just savages who don’t care if their friends die’ but then pretty much every Muslim nation is united in their support for Palestine so I guess that one was a pile of shit.

I personally know a few Uighurs, you need to stop lying.

While the USA is actively deporting random people to a South American Max Prison and killed 50 civilians last week.

Provide proof, a source, anything, that proves it's propaganda.

Because a few Muslim countries have and a quick search online would tell you that.

It's funny, the only people I've seen claim that it's propaganda always repeat the same thing you've just said though.

burden of proof is on you buddy, should be easy as hell if it's true, just look at all the evidence in palestine of a real genocide. or go there yourself and record it, you dont even need a passport to visit and the region loves tourists. must be weird that the only widely circulated evidence is picture that turned out to be an anti-drug psa and the wildly extrapolative work of the crackpot cia asset zenz.

I live in China and have visited Xinjiang many times, it’s a very popular tourist destination as it is mountainous and great for skiing. Alatai has a lot of resorts and Urumqi is always worth a visit even if just for the cuisine.

You do realize China doesn't deny that it has reeducation camps? The argument is whether those camps are concentration camps or not.

U.S. has concentration camps, had em for the Japanese during the war.. but now we have proper torture camps, Guantanamo and El Salvador.

Your Western mainstream media no longer even reports on this crap because everyone knows it's not true.

u/TekRabbit 2d ago

You mean multiple Muslim countries? lol.

Of course you don’t because you believe the actual propaganda.

Im sure people upset about destruction of centuries old mosques in china were able to freely complain or debate about it beforehand

12

u/SassySerpents 2d ago

I can't speak for other mosques taken down because I simply don't know, but the one near my aunts in Urumqi was bulldozed because it was centuries old, literally falling apart and a huge health hazard. Months later and there is now a new mosque in it's exact place. Guess which part of the story western media focused on and which part they deliberately left out.

u/apple_kicks 2d ago

Are there any websites or articles about the new mosque? Most i heard were converted to secular use and no worship happens anymore

I get this news from humans rights orgs

You can access the plethora of videos of Youtubers visiting Xinjiang once China went visaless for western tourists, and those Youtubers specifically went to "investigate" how the Muslims are living there.

-3

u/apple_kicks 2d ago

I trust human rights orgs more, too many influencers get invited or paid trips that aren’t impartial and tourists even on their own aren’t really good points of view for countries like quality journalists or human rights lawyers. Like i could visit US but not get day to day struggles or legal issues because tourism isnt good objectives look

They don’t speak out because they’re imprisoned and being „re-educated“ or their organs are being harvested in Chinese hospitals. Stop lying.

Stop parroting this false narrative. All the sources of your claim came from 1 place.

Adrian Zenz...a guy who has never been to China. Lol.

No Muslim country is speaking out because

A: They aren't even aware it's happening

B: China is a significant connection for nearly every country except the US and India. Bringing it up would hurt those relations.

Ever wondered why not 1 single Muslim country is speaking out against China on this? Because this is a Western propaganda.

Because they care more about profits than about foreign people who have the same religion
