i have a question do u need to pay the $20 subscription community fee to communicate with people online or find lobbies along with the $80 to get mario kart?
like whats the community fee for its seems like discord but nintendo
Then wth are they charging for? If its a subscription it goes towards the server but if its peer to peer we are paying to maintain the server and access to our own server
Mario Karts 8 can be a terrible experience. Apparently it's better on WiFi but I lost my USB to ethernet adapter and haven't gotten a new one yet. Didn't realise there was a version of the switch without an ethernet port 😫
Granted it shouldn't matter, GTA 5 and any other online game works fine, it's just mario kart
He was saying 20 dollars a year for playing online + playing almost all the retro games for multiple platforms was too much because retro games price were too high but in fact you don't have to pay more for playing those games but just the base price, they could have just decided to make you pay only for the online service and not adding those retro consoles. I know it's not free but it's the cheapest out there and gives so many things compared to other consoles, maybe Xbox gives more things but it does cost more. Also I'm not a Nintendo shill or whatever it's called, I'm not trying to defend any multi-million dollar company, it's just facts. I play mostly on pc and probably I won't even buy a switch 2
