If this is the same incident I read about recently, the bus driver saved the kid by pulling them back by their backpack when they saw the car coming

The bus driver did a good thing but deserves to lose their job. They arent pulled over, and they do not have their lights on. It is prodecure to have your lights on as you are coming to a stop and pull over, so when your door opens, the reds automatically come on and the crossing arm comes out.

No they don't. Blame the car that speeds around on the shoulder. You people blaming this bus driver are nuts. I'm wondering how people are so sure there are no lights from this grainy video and angle..

L take. The bus should be ON the shoulder. Know your shit if you're gonna pitch in, otherwise, bye. Also, the lights are more than easy to notice if you know what you're talking about

When letting children exit, yes they do.

How far over? You could pull to side of lane to let them on shoulder. You dont need to drive bus onto shoulder itself. Can you even see how far over they are in the video? No you can't. Again just making shit up.
