Throwing the 'now' on the end there makes me think you've seen a similar degrade in their quality since their debut. When they first started showing up on stuff I thought they were awesome. But the last several items I've had with this type of seal have turned out like OP's.

Yes! It seems like skeezy marketing when I open a bottle and this happens. Doesn’t make me trust what’s inside.
