I messaged them on Instagram, we'll see if that works. I can't tell if these are burnt, or if it's oil from rollers or something. The salt is on top of the stripes though, so you're probably right.
Also is your username a reference to that Orb track?

Nice sentiment but I assume Cloudz likes to be able to eat and live in a home. Stormchasers are hobbies, very few make a 'living' off that.

That would be my concern: The dark marks are some oil or something that is not meant to be consumed, and could be toxic. I would contact the mfg as another poster linked for 2 reasons.

1- they will likely send some coupons worth a few x what the purchase price of your box of crackers cost.

2- they ask for batch number stuff from the box for tracking and control... this is how recalls happen.

Nah it wont. They'll want some info printed on the box (lot number and what not).
