[Dale Jr.] To hear he (referring to Austin Hill) spoke up in the Xfinity all drivers meeting to suggest he could be one to mentor the kids was the best laugh I had all week.

Do These 3 Come to mind and is there anymore besides these 3?

[Dalton Hopkins] “I feel like the fans really love it, and even if some drivers may think it’s a little overblown or whatever, it’s not for us. It’s for the people in the grandstands” I asked Kyle Busch about ThrowbackWeekend and if it’s losing its spark overtime.

What's the opening at the top of the windshield for?

All the next gen cars have what appears to be an opening on the passenger side beside the drivers name. Any idea what it's for?

What’s a random paint scheme you think would make a good throwback?

Going into Darlington, Cody Ware is the only full time driver to have less points than Jimmie Johnson, who only ran the Daytona 500.

[Dalton Hopkins] William Byron on throwback weekend: "It’s definitely run its course, I feel like. …Between 40 cars, you cover most of the paint schemes at some point. I think maybe it’s something you bring back every few years. … Maybe it’s just getting a bit repetitive."

Throwback weekend means a lot to me.

First off, Darlington is probably my favorite track on the schedule. The racing is consistently amazing, and it really rewards hard driving. And with the extensive history of the track, it's the perfect backdrop for an event like this.

But personally, the throwback weekend is super important to me. I'm in my late 30s now, and I grew up watching the races every Sunday with my Dad. To this day, I try to carve out a day to watch at least one of the Busch or Cup races with him each weekend.

My dad had a brain injury in 2015 that's robbed him of a lot. He has difficulty with speech, really bad aphasia, and difficulty holding onto recently formed memories; but weirdly, his mind for all older memories is still remarkably sharp. As a result of that, the throwback race consistently produces some of the best and sharpest conversations I get to have with my dad.

Seeing all the cars from the 90s and 00s, he's able to bring up memories and feel reconnected to the sport in a way he's just incapable of every other week of the year. It always seems to brighten him up and give him a little bit more focus, similar to the way old music does. It's really a special thing to see him perk up and have the mental focus and energy to really enjoy it

It makes me feel a little bit like I've got my dad back, the way he was.

[Dalton Hopkins] “I feel like it got old 4-5 years ago. Not to be a downer. ... If we kept doing it down the road we're gonna be throwing it back to me in 2018. ... I think we've rode the horse to death." - @chaseelliott When I asked about Throwback Weekend

[Jayski] No issues in post-race tech. The No. 20 had one lug nut not safe and secure. The Nos. 7, 00 and 19 are returning to the NASCAR R&D Center for inspection.

For those that are trying to get an antenna for the CW

I’m not sure if this is allowed so if the mods want, they can delete this. But I’ll put it up just incase it is. If you’re trying to get an antenna for the CW, first off, don’t fall for Amazon scams. Don’t buy the UMustHave or any other Junky flat antenna or nub. Stick with a reputable company. Don’t buy the cheapest thing. It doesn’t work unless you’re in really strong signal areas. So strong in fact, you can pick them up with a paper clip moat likely. Go to rabbitears.info. There, you can see where your local CW affiliate is, the direction and RF channel. That’s important because VHF and UHF are different, and require certain elements to be picked up with. If you don’t see your CW affiliate, or it’s too far away, check the subchannels by clicking the station. Good chance that it’s also a subchannel of another station.

Edit: HD Antennas DONT EXIST! That’s a marketing ploy to get you to buy a new one. You can use an old antenna with a new tv. It’ll pick up just fine
