Is this because of the solar eclipse ? Lunar eclipse? (Can't remember what way round it's meant to be? )

Whereas a lunar eclipse is when the earth's shadow overtakes the moon. Simply put, if you see the sun, it's a solar eclipse; if you see the moon, it's lunar.
