Considering how much agriculture and manufacturing actually come out of California, this would have a substantial impact on the rest of the US. The California gdp is as much as in the top 5 gdp's in the world.

I will never understand why. The guy becomes president of what was the most powerful and most influential nations on the planet, is given way more power than any other president in the past, and he just... bends over to a country that can't even win an invasion against small neighboring countries?
