Considering how much agriculture and manufacturing actually come out of California, this would have a substantial impact on the rest of the US. The California gdp is as much as in the top 5 gdp's in the world.

If it was Trump/Putin's plan to gain strength against the rest of the world then I would say have both categorically failed. The US is the weakest it has been in 50 years. The EU is now working on stronger international trade agreements. Ukraine is getting billions in additional military aid that may not have been guaranteed were it not for Trump and Putin's idiocy.

Putin having trump destroy the US and put us in disarray is already a benefit for him though for Ukraine.

But the rest of the consequences from a stronger EU is hopefully the positive outcome and it continues to trend that way
