Considering how much agriculture and manufacturing actually come out of California, this would have a substantial impact on the rest of the US. The California gdp is as much as in the top 5 gdp's in the world.

The few you skip includes New York State. We've got $2.3 trillion in GDP and another 20 million people. CA/NY combined is behind only the US, EU, and China - and $1.5 trillion ahead of the next on the list.

CA and NY need to coordinate on this. We're rich, populous, powerful, activist, and motivated.

Hell let's just say that Oregon, Washington, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Islands, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Minnesota and Illinois joined - were talking 129 million people and 13.74 trillion GDP.

And we can do a Colorado/New Mexico airlift since they're landlocked and surrounded by douchebags. We're at 14.34 trillion GDP and 138 million people. If those states actually coordinated in their opposition...
